honestly, I can't help but think that should have come up more. I'm glad it didn't mind you, but the whole animals thinking about only eating or getting eaten, it ignores the large amount of time most of them spend trying to get, off so really...

That kind of thing did come up*, briefly in #23.  The bit where Rachel morphed eagle and Tobias had some feelings.








*Innuendo not applicable, as most birds including hawks are not equipped with that function altogether.

I don't think that counts, he did a whole spiel on how that was admiring what might best be called spiritual personification of the girl Rachel, not sexual attraction to the eagle Rachel. Very un-euphemism for animals doing it

Now what happened/didn't happened with the hawk in book three, that's about as close as they ever get, and really, especially for Tobias, that should have come up a lot more
