Idea I need feedback on

So I've got an idea for an Animorphs fanfic, but I want feedback on it first.

Ok, so it takes place in the real world, and everyone from here all meets at an RAFcon, where we have special guest speaker K.A. Applegate. I don't know how I plan to reveal it yet, but I plan on having K.A. Applegate actually be an Andalite trapped on Earth, and that's her human form, and she wanted to tell people about the invasion, but knew she'd the Yeerks would either cover it up, or have her killed, so she went into hiding and wrote the book series as a way to bring the attention of it all to the world, but then when the Yeerks were defeated in real life, then she wrote an ending to the series as people no longer needed to know about the invasion.

However the Yeerks have returned, and the Andalites are all gone back to their planet, except K.A. who decided to stay as she had fallen in love with a human (her husband), but they have no way of contacting the Andalites to let them know that the Yeerks have returned.

Now, back at the RAFcon, she selects 5 or 6 of us to get 'the power' to fight the new Yeerk invasion, and it'll also be revealed that some of the others of us, that were not selected to be Animorphs, are actually controllers.

So thoughts, ideas, criticism, already been done? Yes, no?

That's brilliant!  I'm doing something very vaguely similar (with KA as the Ellimist), but I think I actually like your direction better.  My story has the actual Animorphs finding out that everything they're doing is already written in a book, and the confusion that results, and how their story would diverge from the books KA/the Ellimist actually wrote.

As far as I know, this hasn't been done.  But you should hear it from some of the more experienced RAFians for confirmation on that.

Just out of curiousity . . . who are the 5 or 6 going to be?  Lol, you could make me a controller . . . because I'd be the last person anyone would suspect.

it sounds really good, what better place to find fighters for a yeerk invasion than the greatest animorph fansite on the face of the planet....
of corse the whole writeing the book series as a way to bring the attention of the yeerk invasion was not fiction any way...

Sounds very cool.  I am definitely in favor of inserting RAFians into fanfics (like RAFGone, which I can't find for some reason).

RAFian fanfics are always the best. cuz we know the story so well inside out. also its cool when we make guest apperanced in them

This sounds liek a really unique idea. No really, it does. Would there be things that she changed in the books or omitted/added?

Well the characters and such would have been made-up. The books themselves would still be fiction, like there were no real Animorphs in real life, ect, but the info in them in regards to the Yeerks, Andalites, technology, ect, would all be true.
