Well....we could make it a requirement that everyone use the regular reply button, and denote in the topic where they are. That's actually a REALLY good idea, Fu.


So, are we doing colors, or are we doing what?

Well, from my personal POV, colours would add confusion, as I'm already using colours to denote which of my characters is posting. This has always proven an effective means of distinguishing separate characters, especially when using first-person perspective.

I hope to continue using my usual colours for the usual purpose. I'll get used to adding a location bit eventually

I don't mind compromising though: It should still be readable with colours for locations, providing the location does not use either green or purple. I think.

I would personally prefer for colours to be used to distinguish characters rather than locations, of course. Especially for players playing more than one character.

I already posted that we're doing colors + names in my last post [ie, [Red for Eddie's house + Eddie]. I replied to your YIM message, Fu. You could keep using your green and purple colors if you really can't adapt to the other colors, but be prepared to answer 'where are you?' to the ooc if someone gets confused.

If you want to change the reply to text for location, that would be awesome!

I'd vote for having one thread, it's much, much easier to keep track and then people don't have to go jumping back and forth to see what the other thread is doing.  I'd probably drop out if there were more than one, too.  I still have to remind myself just to check the OOC thread

As for colors, you guys can do whatever you want for them, but I'd like to continue using black and just marking where I am.  Also I'd like to request that yellow not be used, if it ever comes up, it's really bad on my eyes against the blue background o___O but I usually just highlight it to make it easier so whatever you're all used to is fine.

If possible, it would be great if every one could try and and use the color coding.  Fu and Myitt have requested that they keep their colors purple; green and black, but I had lissted those colors in use for color coding.  I've changed out the green (Kasey's house) to brown.
Please be sure to post whom you're posting for (as Fu has two characters) and your location so that no one is confused.

Odd question: When does this RP take place, year-wise? In the Animorphs books, the internet is written about as if it's still relatively new. People still use something very much like America Online, even. Are we assuming the books are timeless, and current events really take place in 2009 or so?

I ask because Reece's initial instinct in 2009 would be to look up the girl whose face they found on Facebook. But if we're in 1994 or something, the resources available are very different. Also, we'd need more flannel.

Heh. I need to consider that a moment.  Also remember, this is situated before the Animorphs were created- hence why Jethsa has been explaining that the 'Lock In' people aren't really set up yet, the Sharing literally just formed and no, not every one you know is a Controller yet.

Can I just say 'ouch' to the year thing? I mean, luckily for me Eddie's car is old enough for him to keep, given its year of make, but other than that I'm bound to make some 'temporal-mistakes' here and there...

I'll try to play it as 1995, but I may get things slightly wrong. Oh, and can I say: Windows-'95 sucks!! - For this and many other reasons, I generally prefer to play Earth-based RP's present-time. *sigh* I'll give it a go though, if I must.

Wow, '95 through '99 were horrible horrible years of my life....Middle School was the singular worst thing that ever happened to me.  But on the bright side I get to sit down and watch English dubbed DBZ and Sailor Moon on Toonami again...

I just realized that if my character's 22, she would've been born in 1973 o__O She could've seen Star Wars in theatres! XD
