I also wanted to clarify that this RP is situated on the west coast, I'm thinking California if not only because we're utilizing the oo website for the Gardens info; in case you want to start using the locale.

Seryna, post was removed from the Origins board.  I had planned on erasing it after you knew that I had placed my hand on the device also.  I was going by the part where you said "Please, brace yourself.>" (using singular reference instead of plural), and "Jethsa and Sam soon felt a tingling sensation travel through thier bodies."  (Jas wasn't included in that sentence.)  So I figured you hadn't seen the post.  Sry for the misunderstanding.

Ooh right, I should have altered that.  I took out the sentences about Jas not morphing, but didn't change those parts. Editty coming up.

No prov (X 2 ).

I have a reply typed up, but Fu is having trouble catching up on the RP and so I'm holding off on posting until Fu is caught up and gets a post in. If you could perhaps save your posts for a few hours until he catches up and posts, it'd be appreciated.

I wanted to ask all of you something- would you like for our RP to have location- related RP threads?  We could have a thread for Jas, Sam, Alec & Jethsa and one for Kasey's house, for example.  I could list links to the threads here in the ooc for easy navigation.

What do you think?

I like having it all in one place.

I think it might be helpful if we have different font colors for different places,
perhaps? It can get a bit confusing.

Chee compound=black
School/lock-in=red
Kasey's house=green
Woods=brown
In Transit=purple

Something like that?

I think that multiple threads would be a bit too confusing...but colors, or people CLEARLY labeling at the top something like (LOCATION=CHEE COMPOUND) might help to keep things straight.

I personally am a fan of multi-thread RPs, providing time is still linear (ie, no char being in more than one location simultaneously).

*goes back to reading the IC thread.*

Honestly, I'll probably drop out if it goes to a multi-thread RPG. That's too much for me to keep track of. I have a hard time reading through everyone's posts when they're on one thread.

Plus, I think it's harder for people to join in if it's on multiple threads. The readability loses it linearity? (WTH, I don't know WHAT word to use there! :P)

That being said, It's obviously not up to me. So happy deciding. :)

That's what I was thinking of, reading the posts when they're in one thread- for example, Jas & Sam's players don't necessarily need to read the posts by the other characters, as they don't exactly pertain to them yet.
But it would add more clicky clicky.

Lets go with announcing your character + where they are at the start of every post.

Black = The lakeside clearing [Jas, Sam, Alec & Jethsa]
Green= Kasey's House [Kasey, Torrence, Reece & Christina]
Pink = Chee compound
Red = Anywhere else [ie, Eddie at his house, the mall, separate homes]
Purple= In transit

Yeah I was invited to join, and have been considering it. But my only internet is on my phone. Its a workout to read thru, only shows me 6 replies per page so multiple threads wouldn't work for me, but ill wait to join until its been decided

Multiple threads has been voted down.  Love to have you on board, though!

I'm usually pretty clear where my chars are located in their posts, even without blatently labelling them. I may try that next time around though.

As for colours determining location... I'm already using colours to distinguish my characters from each other.

It's a shame the QRB doesn't give the option to alter the post-title, like you get when you click the normal reply button.

As long as you clearly state 'Alice' or 'Eddie' + location in the beginning of the post that'd be okay. That way if someone's in a hurry and just scanning for replies or interaction where they are, they don't need to read posts that aren't related to their character.

For keeping the rp moving fluidly, I gave Fu the okay to have someone let Alice in so she can be present with every one.
