this may just be me, but i reckon that "Flight Of Icarus" by Iron Maiden would be an alright song for Tobias... basically, it shows the freedom that flying brought him, but he didn't heed the warning, and it came back and it bit him on the a$$

I found the perfect one for Rachel.  It's called "Down With the Sickness."

Quote
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken your servant I kneel
(Will you give in to me?)
It seems what's left of my human side
Is slowly changing in me
(Will you give in to me?)

Looking at my own reflection
When suddenly it changes
Violently it changes (oh no)
There is no turning back now
You've woken up the demon in me

[Chorus:]
Get up, come on get down with the sickness [x3]
Open up your hate, and let it flow into me
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother get up come on get down with the sickness
You ****er get up come on get down with the sickness
Madness is the gift, that has been given to me

I can see inside you, the sickness is rising
Don't try to deny what you feel
(Will you give in to me?)
It seems that all that was good has died
And is decaying in me
(Will you give in to me?)

It seems you're having some trouble
In dealing with these changes
Living with these changes (oh no)
The world is a scary place
Now that you've woken up the demon in me

[Chorus]

(And when I dream) [x4]
No mommy, don't do it again
Don't do it again
I'll be a good boy
I'll be a good boy, I promise
No mommy don't hit me
Why did you have to hit me like that, mommy?
Don't do it, you're hurting me
Why did you have to be such a ****
Why don't you,
Why don't you just **** off and die
Why can't you just **** off and die
Why can't you just leave here and die
Never stick your hand in my face again ****
**** YOU
I don't need this ****
You stupid sadistic abusive ****ing ****
How would you like to see how it feels mommy
Here it comes, get ready to die.

I don't like all the swearing, and don't think it fits, so if we ignore that part, it's perfect.

Have you guys ever heard "The Eagle and the Hawk" by John Denver?  The title always makes me think of Rachel and Tobias.  <3  And the lyrics fit Tobias pretty much perfectly, at least for his more optimistic days (except when he says "I am the eagle", lol).

Quote
Ohhh, I am the eagle, I live in high country, in rocky cathedrals that reach to the sky.
I am the hawk, and there's blood on my feathers, but time is still turning, they soon will be dry.
And all those who see me, and those who believe in me, share in the freedom I feel when I fly!

Come dance with the west wind, and touch on the mountaintops, sail o'er the canyons, and up to the stars.
Reach for the heavens, and hope for the future, and all that we can be, not what we are.

It's a short song, but I really, really like it.

Also, the song "Lights Out" (I don't know the artist) has one line, that every time I hear it, I think of Rachel saying it to Tobias.

Quote
I still set my watch two hours behind.

The song "Brother, My Brother" by Blessid Union of Souls reminds me of Jake and Tom.

Quote
Brother my brother
Tell me what are fighting for
We've got to end this war
We should love one another
Oh, can't we just pretend
This war never began
We can try
Brother my brother

We face each other from different sides
The anger burns can't remember why
It's kind of crazy to cause so much pain
Our foolish pride makes us hate this way

We watch our world fall apart
Tell me what good is winning
When you lose your heart

Brother my brother
Tell me what are fighting for
Isn't life worth so much more
We should love one another
Oh, can't we just pretend
This war never began
Tell me why
Brother my brother

Yes
We can try
Brother my brother
Yes

Let's take a moment to look deep inside
and say we're willing to give love a try
we're not as different as we seem to be
there's so much more to me than what you see

It don't have to be this way
Think about the consequences
then turn around and walk away

Brother my brother
Tell me what are fighting for
Isn't life worth so much more
We should love one another
Oh, can't we just pretend
This war never began
Tell me why
Brother my brother

Brother my brother
Tell me what are fighting for
Isn't life worth so much more
We should love one another
Oh, can't we just pretend
This war never began
Tell me why
Brother my brother

I had this song for a while, but I just remembered to put it here.

It's a good Rachel song, quite fittingly titled "Animal I Have Become"

I can't escape this hell
So many times i've tried
But i'm still caged inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
I can't control myself

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal
(This animal, this animal)

I can't escape myself
(I can't escape myself)
So many times i've lied
(So many times i've lied)
But there's still rage inside
Somebody get me through this nightmare
I can't control myself

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal

Somebody help me through this nightmare
I can't control myself
Somebody wake me from this nightmare
I can't escape this hell

(This animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal, this animal)

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal
(This animal I have become)

Definatly. Perfect song for Rachel.

By the way do you think the animorphs movie (if it ever comes to light) would have a theme song? and what would they choose (in your opinion)

Lordi - Beast Loose in Paradise

Somethings moving swarming under rugs
Cold flesh cosy home for worms and bugs

Their children, bad omen, these evil seeds will grow
Dark havens, black ravens, thunder's about to blow

Hell's already here if we are living to die
Beast loose in paradise
Who knows if we're gonna meet in heaven tonight?
Beast loose in paradise

The beast is loose!
The beast is loose!

Madnes rose upon their last of kin
Crazy hungry for another sin

Their children, bad omen, these evil seeds will grow
Dark havens, black ravens, thunder's about to blow

Hell's already here if we are living to die
Beast loose in paradise
Who knows if we're gonna meet in heaven tonight?
Beast loose in paradise

The beast is loose!
The beast is loose!

Vertigo swirls down,
To skeletal,
Wrapped up in a death shroud,
Biting at souls who are ready to fall!

Hell's already here if we are living to die
Beast loose in paradise
Who knows if we're gonna meet in heaven tonight?
Beast loose in paradise

Hell's already here if we are living to die
Beast loose in paradise
Who knows if we're gonna meet in heaven tonight?
Beast loose in paradise

Hell's already here if we are living to die
Beast loose in paradise
Who knows if we're gonna meet in heaven tonight?
Beast loose in paradise

For me Pearl Jam's "Alive" is the perfect song for when Tobias is crying after he finds out Elfangor is his father.

Not all the songs have to be so serious. I choose th obvious.
Aliens exist by blink 182

Hey mom, there’s something in the backroom
I hope it’s not the creatures from above
You used to read me stories
As if my dreams were boring
We all know conspiracies are dumb
What if people knew that these were real
I’d leave my closet door open all night
I know the cia would say
What you hear is all hearsay
I wish someone would tell me what was right
Up all night long
And there’s something very wrong
And I know it must be late
Been gone since yesterday
I’m not like you guys
I’m not like you
I am still the skeptic yes you know me
Been best friends and will be till we die
I got an injection
Of fear from the abduction
My best friend thinks I’m just telling lies
Up all night long
And there’s something very wrong
And I know it must be late
Been gone since yesterday
I’m not like you guys
I’m not like you
Dark and scary, ordinary, explanation
Information, nice to know ya, paranoia
Where’s my mother, biofather
Up all night long
And there’s something very wrong
And I know it must be late
Been gone since yesterday
I’m not like you guys
Twelve majestic lies

I think the best song for Cassie would be:
"What if You're Wrong"
What if you're right?
And he was just another nice guy
What if you're right?
What if it's true?
They say the cross will only make a fool of you
And what if it's true?

What if he takes his place in history
With all the prophets and the kings
Who taught us love and came in peace
But then the story ends
What then?

But what if you're wrong?
What if there's more?
What if there's hope you never dreamed of hoping for?
What if you jump?
And just close your eyes?
What if the arms that catch you, catch you by surprise?
What if He's more than enough?
What if it's love?

What if you dig
Way down deeper than your simple-minded friends
What if you dig?
What if you find
A thousand more unanswered questions down inside
That's all you find?

What if you pick apart the logic
And begin to poke the holes
What if the crown of thorns is no more
Than folklore that must be told and retold?

You've been running as fast as you can
You've been looking for a place you can land for so long
But what if you're wrong?

The reason is that I think she's a Christian.  She just uses actions rather than words.  Read book 19.  Only a Christian would even attempt to do what she did in that book.

I'm afraid to even comment on this sentence, but...

The reason is that I think she's a Christian.  She just uses actions rather than words.  Read book 19.  Only a Christian would even attempt to do what she did in that book.

So that's to say that anyone who isn't a Christian is incapable of such morality. That any person who reads a different Holy text, or prays to a different God - or perhaps to none at all - does not have the capacity for strong values. If Cassie wasn't Christian, she would have simply killed Karen and Aftran and happily proceed with her life, right?

Alright, guys we all know how extremely volatile a topic such as religion is, so let's steer it back on course.

I'm going to take a different route and try a song that's not so moody and/or depressing. It is a little depressing, though, depending on your views.

Meet me Halfway-Black Eye Peas

It reminds me of Rachel wanting Tobias to morph and stay human, and him refusing to. I suppose it could also show Cassie's viewpoint after the war. Everyone always says "Cassie abandoned Jake....", but no one tried to see it from her view.

Sticking with the whole "Neo-Techno-Soul-Funk" vibe....

Alive-Black Eyed Peas

Again, reminds of Tobias and Rachel. Especially since he seemed devoid of emotion in #54.

Sitting in my room, staring at the wall,
I can't believe it's happening
Once so wonderful, now,
life's a twisted kind of reality, a fantasy
Don't know where to begin

Saw your love for me vanish in a single moment of stupidity
Nightmare this may be, but it is not a dream, ooh
I want to scream; a broken heart still bleeds

Never ever talk, never ever smile
Knowing that my life won't be the same
Never ever touch, never ever feel
I will never hear you call my name…again

In my dreams I see, see you come to me; a memory of times of old
Waking up, I realize Hell's as cool as ice
and the touch of sin did get me in
Nothing burns like the cold

Never ever talk, never ever smile
Knowing that my life won't be the same
Never ever touch, never ever feel
I will never hear you call my name...again

As we sin, so do we suffer
I've fallen from grace, want to turn back time and make it undone

Guitar Solo

Never ever talk, never ever smile
Knowing that my life won't be the same
Never ever touch, never ever feel
I will never hear you call my name
Never ever talk, never ever smile
All I see: a future full of fear
Never ever touch, never ever feel
I can never whisper in your ear…I'm sorry

"Set Me Free" by Casting Crowns would be an awesome song for Tom:

It hasn't always been this way
I remember brighter days
Before the dark ones came
Stole my mind
Wrapped my soul in chains

Now I live among the dead
Fighting voices in my head
Hoping someone hears me crying in the night
And carries me away

Set me free of the chains holding me
Is anybody out there hearing me?
Set me free

Morning breaks another day
Finds me crying in the rain
All alone with my demons I am
Who is this man that comes my way?
The dark ones shriek
They scream His name
Is this the One they say will set the captives free?
Jesus, rescue me

As the God man passes by
He looks straight through my eyes
And darkness cannot hide

Do you want to be free?
Lift your chains
I hold the key
All power on Heav'n and Earth belong to me

You are free
You are free
You are free
