Which alien would you prefer to have as a pet, if they kept all aspects of their race (ie, Andalite arrogance, Taxxon hunger, Hork-Bajir limited intelligence, etc). Why?


Personally I'd like a Hork-Bajir. They're so nice and docile and loyal. If only we could find an Arn to make them fuzzy....

Erm... I wouldn't keep sentient species as pets. That's slavery, no? 

I would like to have a colony of semi-wild kafit birds, though.  Similar to how some people keep pigeons in cities.  Except kafits are carnivorous and not as ugly.

I would like to have an alien as a friend, but not keep it as a pet.
I would like a be friends with an Andalite. They can teach me some valuable things I lack.

I mean, come on.  A pet that you can program to do your bidding, will disperse when you don't want it around, you never have to bathe it, and could chew up anyone you don't like?  Who wouldn't want one?  Well, except people allergic to dust, that is.

I'd take an Iskoort buddy, because I could use him to piss of so many people that I don't like. and if he get's desperate, he might take there unnecassary organs without permission.

As for paying him...do you think their homeworld has sugar?

See, the problem with the Iskoort is that you have to get CREATIVE with payment. They won't take the two of the same thing as payment, because hey, they already have one.

I'd have a Hork-Bajir pet. It wouldn't be slavery, since I wouldn't actually make it do anything. In fact, I'd be the one who'd have to move to a spot with a lot of trees to make sure it can feed itself.

But, I would definitely want to have a Hork-Bajir to hang out with.

Obviously I wouldn't want a sentient creature as a pet, but hypothetically speaking it would be cool to have an Andalite or Hork-Bajir friend around (and the Veleek idea is pure genius!)  ;D

However, another alien race does spring to mind. Leerans. How awesome would it be to have a psychic alien as a pet/friend? Wandering if the girl next door likes you? Want to know what your friends, parents or colleagues really think about you? Just ask your friendly neighbourhood Leeran!

That's why as my pet, they would be forbidden to enter my mind, or alternatively as a friend they would respect the boundaries of our friendship and stay out of my mind out of respect. If not, then I would get rid of them. I certainly don't want to hang out with a mind reader if they're going to be looking at my thoughts.

I wouldn't have a pet, but if I could have an alien friend, I would have a Hork-Bajir or an Andalite.

And yeah, it's slavery ^^
As true "pet", I'd say the Veleek is interesting, or Esplin's old pets. Or a Kafit or a Derrh (another species, I think Humans don't know).
