Rachel and Jake looks exactly like I think of them, Cassie is allmost. I'm not sure how I imagine Marco but still he is quite like the book covers but Tobias should be blond and Ax should look younger.

I like Rachel on Book Two.  The transition to cat is so smooth and beautiful.

I think she looked really beautiful on that cover...but not realistic if that makes sense? Kind of like a glamour shot or something.

I mean the sort of person who doesn’t feel too upset about the prospect of a weekend spent seeing no one, and reading good books on the couch. It wasn’t like I was a people hater or anything. I enjoyed activities and the company of friends. But they were a side dish. I always thought I would also be happy without them."

Yeah, I agree.  But the morph was cool none the less.

I picture Jake, Marco, and Cassie like their models, Rachel as Brooke Nevin (only with better acting), and no one's fit my picture for Tobias yet.

* Paulo... Sorry, he was just all wrong for Ax.
i thought paulo did agood job as ax or are you talking about just looks as opposed to acting ability? who would you cast in the role?

I always picture tobias as he appeared on book 3, I have to force myself to see he as anytype of blond.
Jake Macro and Cassie are more or less like the books, Ax's human too, maybe a bit leaner
The Rachel on book 22 is probably closest to my image, cept the eyes and the eyebrows (too dark)
Give her final arc Rachels eyes and lighter brows and that's probably it.
I feel so weird thinking like this :P

I'm the same way, even though I know he's supposed to be blond Tobias has dark hair in my mind  :P

Marco and Cassie I pictured like their models. Jake I thought looked kinda...blah.  A little too average for being the leader of the Animorphs.  I never thought Rachel looked beautiful enough and Ax just seemed kinda stiff on all the covers.

I actually really liked Rachel from The Visitor. I think she had the best appropriate Rachel crazy eyes.
Until then we fight.

I know Ax is supposed to be a kid, and not as big or strong-looking as other andalites, but is it me or does he look totally useless on the covers?  I mean, his tail isn't long enough to reach past his own head, let alone chop off someone else's.

THANK YOU! that was always my biggest problem with Ax. his tail was always all wrong, among other things.

I really hate the cover on the visitor. That girl looks allmost exactly like me, except that I have longer hair and greener eyes. She even have that strange eye tinge that I thought I was alone to have in the world.

I don't totally identify with Rachel that's all.

I always picture tobias as he appeared on book 3, I have to force myself to see he as anytype of blond.

This is something I "identify" whit on the other hand

Whenever I read the books, or write for that matter, I choose to picture my own models for them. This is the model I use in my head for Rachel.

I'll dig around and find the others I like for the rest of the group.
