I'd be a dog. People love them, and if being a dog gets boring, I could mess around with thought-speech, gaining fame and fortune as a "Psychic Dog" that actually was psychic.

I asked myself this question, and I thought I would either be a hawk, dolphin, or wolf. They all seem like a good choice to me.  :)

Hrms.  I think if we were able to pick Animorphs universe creatures, I'd go Andalite.  I'd kill to have an Andalite brain, I'd get 15 degrees and be some sort of scientist/professor/writer by the time I was 30.  (Though, that just opens the question...would I get the Andalite intelligence, or would I be stuck with the human intelligence...) Oh well, even if I kept my human brain Andalite would be pretty cool.

If going with just earth animals, I think either a dog or a horse.  Being a talking dog would be pretty BA...lol.

If we can choose species from Animorphs, I'd be a Hork-Bajir. Mostly peaceful, yet dangerous-looking...that'd be awesome.

Otherwise, I'd be stuck between a bird of prey and a dolphin.

As a future vet tech, I'm not supposed to say this...but it's true.  Cats are terrible.  ;_;  I thought going to vet tech school would help me get over my minor fear of cats, lol nope.  Made it 10x worse.   :XD:  (But at least now I know what to do when its screeching like a banshee and trying to kill me.  :-\ )

She's afraid that Sheba (a nearly thirteen-year-old blue-point Siamese) would scratch her if she brushed her.  But, yet, Sheba knows better than mess with me.

On-topic, I'd might consider an owl . . . but, chances are I'd pick a male Siberian tiger over that. . . . I think they live longer than owls, too -- I know the tigers can live up to two+ decades . . .

A dog. I mean, sure, their life spans aren't as great as other animals, but you could be a lovable golden retriever and you could live in a house with a family :)
You could be the greatest dog ever. AND THOUGH SPEAKING ABILITIES. Kinda like Brian from Family Guy except I can't walk on two feet.

After watching Finding Nemo and those realistic graphics, maybe a whale. So I could finally see the water, deep water, and not be scared of drowning.... but I think i'd stick with a dog.
