I'm sticking with my original decision from 2008 - a dog. As long as I get treated the way I treat my dog!
"I always considered myself a loner. I mean, not like a poor-me, Byron-esque, I-should-have-broughta-swimming-buddy loner. I mean the sort of person who doesn’t feel too upset about the prospect of a weekend spent seeing no one, and reading good books on the couch. It wasn’t like I was a people hater or anything. I enjoyed activities and the company of friends. But they were a side dish. I always thought I would also be happy without them."

- Harry Dresden/Jim Butcher, Ghost Story.

I think I'd go with the Siberian tiger if I was looking for power, but then, bird of prey, the flying and all... now THAT is really cool. Oh yeah, I'm going with peregrine falcon. (Jake has a lot of nothlit-worthy morphs, doesn't he?  :) )
Though I have a doubt! If you get stuck as an Andalite, do you still retain the morphing power?

If I wanted to still maintain contact with my family and friends somehow I would go with being a crow nothlit or some kind of pretty bird.
If I didn't care about family or friends I would go with being some kind of shark (maybe a whale shark).

Yeah, definitely a cat!

Same! I love cats! But we'd definitely be shortening our lifespans.. :(
I guess that would be something else to take into consideration, when choosing to be a nothlit.

I'd have to be a bird-of-prey. I mean, what could be better than flying?
Or mabey a python..... that'd be really cool too.......

Definitively a peregrine falcon.

Mainly because I would have the thrill of flying at high speed but also because their diet consist of something I would mind eating if I had to.

(also, they're migratory birds and are able to travel 500km a day when they migrate. If I get too bored, (nearly) nothing would stop me from exploring places I wouldn't have bothered to visit before or fly to Florida and watch some rocket launches (of course, I would mainly watch Falcon 9 launches for the small irony of it).

Cat is the easiest choice, just eat and sleep all day, but they only live about fifteen years, and if you end up in a shelter and no one adopts you, you're screwed.

I'm tempted to choose an apex predator like a wolf, but what am I going to do when I'm too old to hunt or I get injured.

I think a seagull might be a fun choice because I can fly anywhere without being noticed and eat anything.

Tobias is right, bird of prey is probably the best choice.

Wait, parrots live a long time and can almost talk.
