((The ship wouldn't respond to a simple scan, and that's why I didn't post anything. Now that it's being attacked it will respond.))
Ossanlin moves his right-hand shredder to cover Salem, replacing the left hand Shredder, it's mag-strap snapping back into place to secure it. <That's a wise decision Keshin. Hadrin's death is as much my fault as anyone else's, it was my decision that caused him to be here at the wrong time and in the wrong place. Guilt lies with more than one person. I'm sure the Rebellion will want to square with you on that, but I'll leave that in their hands. Right now the cards favor you, as the humans say. I believe we should be able to get you back to your ship...> Ossanlin doesn't say more to Keshin...the situation was still volatile...right now Keshin simply needs to be calm.
He sends a private thought to Tora. <<I thought Aliciania and I were the only ones here...interesting. My weapons are only pointed at Keshin's human accomplice. You need not concern yourself, Myitt and Tara's healths are of the utmost concern to me.>>
Ossanlin looks back towards Salem, keeping a stalk-eye on Keshin. <Nothing to say for yourself? Is the feline grasping your tongue? I don't know who you are human, or what multiverse you might be from, but mercenaries are not terribly desired here. You helped to save my life, whether out of personal concern or not, I thank you. But being that you are the one who injured me in the first place, I'm not certain the thanks are deserved.> Ossanlin keeps his main eyes on the human. <I generally believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, you know, the general good? But not only did you nearly kill me, you harbored a fugitive who attempted to murder one person, successfully killed another, and just now took a third hostage. Not only that, but you lied about it and supplied the fugitive with advanced technology to escape. What would you expect others to believe about you after that, hmm? I have no idea why you've joined up with Keshin, but I can tell you that it's not the wisest decision you could make.>

((Woo...ship post...kinda weird.))
The Mirage registers an attack attempt upon in and the auto-defnses engage. The shields immediately push out from the hull, forcibly pushing back anything close enough to be in range. The computer locks down to voice-print thought-speech command only, sealing the ship and all hatches within.
