Silver sat up straighter and readied herself. As soon as they take off they would he covered. She placed her hands to her temples to help her flow her power a little more when the time came.

"I'm well armed and ready." Temrash said, still sporting the wide array of equippment that he borrowed from the armory. Getting through this mission should help him calm down so he could deal with Salem in a reasonable manner.

"Are you sure your gonna be alright, Sarge?" Jackson asked. He was worried about their leader. Rayker had laid his head down on the bar, with his arms folded underneath. It was unlike him to have his guard down. It had happened before, but it wasn't often that Rayker showed signs of pain or discomfort. Even with the aid Charlie had given him, having your stomach meet sunlight couldn't be a nice feeling.

"I'll be fine; I'm just a little nauseous is all." Rayker lifted his head and rubbed his forehead. "I hate to ask you this Jackson, but I need you to find someone who could give Wester and Riley their deep-space burial."

"I'd be glad to, sir" Jackson said with an ever so slightly strained voice. They've more than earned it.

Hm, it seems that Mr. Indestructible here has a ladyfriend. Carson thought. He tucked that tidbit of information in the back of his mind, gestured to to the other three Beta Squaders, and saluted.

"She won't get a scratch, sir." Carson was glad to submit himself and his little team to the plans of others, but he sure hoped that those others would understand he still had final authority over his half-squad.

((The ship wouldn't respond to a simple scan, and that's why I didn't post anything.  Now that it's being attacked it will respond.))

Ossanlin moves his right-hand shredder to cover Salem, replacing the left hand Shredder, it's mag-strap snapping back into place to secure it.  <That's a wise decision Keshin.  Hadrin's death is as much my fault as anyone else's, it was my decision that caused him to be here at the wrong time and in the wrong place.  Guilt lies with more than one person.  I'm sure the Rebellion will want to square with you on that, but I'll leave that in their hands.  Right now the cards favor you, as the humans say.  I believe we should be able to get you back to your ship...>  Ossanlin doesn't say more to Keshin...the situation was still volatile...right now Keshin simply needs to be calm.

He sends a private thought to Tora.  <<I thought Aliciania and I were the only ones here...interesting.  My weapons are only pointed at Keshin's human accomplice.  You need not concern yourself, Myitt and Tara's healths are of the utmost concern to me.>>

Ossanlin looks back towards Salem, keeping a stalk-eye on Keshin.  <Nothing to say for yourself?  Is the feline grasping your tongue?  I don't know who you are human, or what multiverse you might be from, but mercenaries are not terribly desired here.  You helped to save my life, whether out of personal concern or not, I thank you.  But being that you are the one who injured me in the first place, I'm not certain the thanks are deserved.>  Ossanlin keeps his main eyes on the human.  <I generally believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, you know, the general good?  But not only did you nearly kill me, you harbored a fugitive who attempted to murder one person, successfully killed another, and just now took a third hostage.  Not only that, but you lied about it and supplied the fugitive with advanced technology to escape.  What would you expect others to believe about you after that, hmm?  I have no idea why you've joined up with Keshin, but I can tell you that it's not the wisest decision you could make.>

((Woo...ship post...kinda weird.))

The Mirage registers an attack attempt upon in and the auto-defnses engage.  The shields immediately push out from the hull, forcibly pushing back anything close enough to be in range.  The computer locks down to voice-print thought-speech command only, sealing the ship and all hatches within.

Parker shook his head at Silver's comment. He said, "You've never gotten in the way. You've been an amazing asset in every situation. My worry is that you're weakened when you use your power, and when we board the ship, you'll be weakened further from this large illusion. I just want to make sure you're protected."

The Director was concentrating on the hack when suddenly he was blind-sided by the ship's shields projecting themselves outward. He was thrown back and fell on his ass. He looked at the ship and smiled. "Haha, very nice. Let's see." He got back to his feet and stood a good distance away from the ship's hull. He scanned the ship again, only this time his screwdriver gave an extremely dull and low whine. The Director nodded and smiled impressed. He brushed the dirt and dried grass off of his person, turned to the others he was with and said, "Sorry, it's been locked down. Looks like you'll have to ask nicely to get your friend back."

Cody wash pushed back by the force field, and fell onto the ground. "Oww! My leg! That did not feel good!" He yelled. After a bit of trying to get up, and keeping himself from crying, he managed to get on his feet again. "Ok. I guess it won't be a walk in the park." After looking around, he was glad to not spot any andalites. Though he did notice a dog. "That's weird. Are there stray dogs around this place?"

The Director answered, "No, he's been following us since we left the bar. I'd say he's not exactly an ordinary dog from the way he's been tailing us and keeping his distance, rather than just running up to us and jumping on us; but that's just my opinion."

That set off an alarm bell in Cody's head. Animals that don't act like normal animals tend to be Andalites in morph where he came from. But why morph something so noticable? Was it really an Andalite, or just something else? "I'm not a big fan of animals."

The Director remarked, "Well you must have a very self-loathing complex as you yourself are an animal. No, from what I've seen of the Andalites, I doubt that dog is one of them either. They wouldn't bother with sneaky missions of recon like that. From what I've seen, Andalites are powerful enough that they barrel straight into situations knowing they'll be fine. No, that dog is either scared and curious, or something else entirely."

"Touche." Cody said at The Director calling him an animal. "So what is plan B for this ship?" He said, looking at the dog.

Gaz had taken off her usual long blue jacket. The rest of her outfit was more apparent than it usually was. She wore dark pants and boots, she also wore a dark reddish-purple top along with fingerless gloves. At her side was her gun.

Sitting behind the controls of the shuttle, Gaz said, "Ok! We're on our way now. We'll be connecting with the CG ship in less than 5."

The Director looked oddly at Cody, "Plan B? No plan B, The only way on that ship is if it's opened by an authorized person. Neither of which, are we."

"F***." Cody said. He didn't want to leave without Sukohn, but he also didn't want to beg Ossanlin. He also knew Tamora wouldn't want to be near him. "Fine. So be it. Tamora, let's go. I don't know what Visser Two will think of the two of us showing up with no Yeerks, but it's better than being here."

Alic had kept her weapon aimed at Salem even when Keshin was threatening Myitt's life. She knew Ossanlin would shoot if he had to, and someone had to keep an eye on this creep. Before she could really say anything herself, Keshin had been talked into letting Myitt go. She wished they had a shot to bring him down then. She hadn't liked the way Salem was looking at Ossanlin, and glared at him with her main eyes, while her stalk eyes watched Keshin to make sure he tried nothing else stupid that would involve one or more people being shot at.
Alic snorted in disgust. <He is to blame. He should not be let go. I don't think he's going to start playing nice anytime soon.> She kept a steady aim at Salem, hoping to find some reason to shoot at him. She would only have to change the settings on the dracon.

Salem glanced at Ossanlin when he spoke to him, raising an eyebrow. He went back to examining his fingernails. His opinion of the War Prince was beginning to rise again. Here, his friend's life was in danger, and the Andalite was still taking the time to try to make Salem feel threatened and guilty. He smiled slightly. This was apparently an Andalite after his own heart.

He spoke without even looking up, "Frankly, War Prince, I'm not interested in what you think of me. Typical arrogant Andalite, thinks his way is the only way. Look beyond this little rebel patch of space. There's more going on than you know. Don't accuse me of something unless you understand what it is you're accusing me of." He now turned and looked straight into Alic's main eyes. "And don't threaten me unless you understand who you're threatening." He kept his voice level, almost too quiet to be heard, the whole time he was talking. He didn't feel like getting into an argument with two jumpy Andalites over this, but he couldn't resist getting another jab in so they didn't walk away unflustered.

He nodded towards Myitt and Keshin. "Don't you Andalites have a situation to deal with?"
