((Alright, I hope everyone appreciates this. I type all of my GESB posts in Notepad and then copy/paste them into RAF. Well, I just went to send an email and accidentally hit 'paste'. I was about TWO SECONDS away from sending my realtor my last GESB post.))

The Director looked around the bar, done with both of his conversations, the Yeerk pair was becoming almost incoherent, and the warrior beside him dismissed him. He saw the future girl get up and sit near Terenia's twin and the bounty hunter. He walks over to her, bringing his bottle of Redin. He plops down next to her and asks, "So, the young'uns decided to take your cause, 'eh?"


Thordon tilts his head in curiosity and asks, "Why the disappointment? Were you hoping to acquire such an ability?"

Elayne whips her head towards The Director in surprise, having been so intent on trying to hear Tamora and Keshin that she had not even heard him sit on her other side. An irritated expression crosses her face at being interrupted, but she gradually smooths her features. "Yes. I'm grateful to them." And nervous about where their conversation might be going, she added internally, casting a cautious glance at the bounty hunter.

[Darth Revan]

The Director read her body language, "Aw," he drops his voice to an exaggerated whisper, "Eavesdropping, are we? Trying to see who Terenia's sister is targeting?"

[KitsuneMarie]

"Hey, keep it down," Elayne frowns at The Director. "Well, I'm certainly doing nothing of the kind now that you're here. I suppose I'll just have to ask them later. What did you wish to talk to me about?" She lifts her beer and takes a sip, eyebrows raised in mild interest as she watches him.

[Darth Revan]

The Director looked sarcastically hurt, "What? I can't just come over and spark up a conversation? What is this place good for if not for idle conversation?"

Elayne gives The Director a bland smile. "So start one. What do you want to discuss? I know nothing about you, so I'm not sure what would interest you." She takes another sip of her beer, drumming her fingertips along the bar's counter, her attention still divided.

[Darth Revan]

The Director smiles, "Well that's why we have conversations, to learn about other people; find out what interests them. Why do we have to discuss anything? What's wrong with just a conversation? We could theorize who Terenia's sister wants dead. We could strategize about how the kid could possibly survive going to the Yeerk homeworld when he only has a ship and no real contacts or plans. We could talk about your plans to stay on this odd asteroid placed in a nexus of time. Our topics are almost endless." He opens his arms illustrating his sentence. He pours himself another shot. He holds it to her, "Care to try? It's amazingly potent. Apparently, it's not available on your planet. That's gotta be enticing."

((Haha, Jessi, that's awesome XD  "Yes, I'm looking for a two bedroom, and Terenia knocks back booze in an alien bar and her twin sister glares at her, wanting a super-powered slug-human to kill her.))

Elayne raises an eyebrow and smirks. "I'm sorry, I was under the impression that 'discuss' was a synonym of 'converse.' I don't particularly wish to talk about individuals who are sitting in earshot, so what about you? Are you planning on remaining her for a while, as well? What brought you here in the first place?"

She wrinkles her nose at the potent smell of The Director's drink. "Mm, no thank you," she replies, taking another sip of her beer.

[Darth Revan]

The Director answers her point, "Ah, synonyms yes, but they're not the same. Discussion are well informed conversations about a certain topic. I'm talking about just a conversation, no real topic needed. All squares are rhombuses, but not all rhombuses are square."

After her refusal of his drink, he smirks indifferently and downs the shot. "Me? I wound up here by accident. I have my ship set on random. I'm currently running from the Dark Guardian of Time. This place seems like the perfect getaway to me. It seems my TARDIS went through a rift in Time and got sucked into this place. Lucky for me. Plenty of people, plenty of stories; and with timelines smashing together here, there's got to be some good I can do around here.

"How 'bout you? Since you're not going home, what're your plans?"

[Terenia]

(Not sure what to post now. Asking Terenia what she accomplished didn't really pan out any. I'm not sure what to do with Temrash or Derrel. I don't think Temrash would be suspicious of Keshin talking to Tamora.)

((Alright, I'll think of something. Oh! I forgot to post for Trey!))

Trey shakes his head, "Not disappointed. It's just...things like that are easier to explain when technology is involved, I guess. It's quite a wonderful skill, though. So long as you aren't afraid of heights."

Terenia grabs a new glass from the bartender, her previous one in Alic's possession now, and pours a small amount of redin in it. She swirls the glass, allowing the liquid to slosh around, before throwing it back. When she replaces the glass on the table she turns back to Claxter.

"So." she slurs, "What's the deal with this whole 'pretending nice' thing anyhow? You think I don't know that the second you get an opportunity you'll stomp me to death?"
