Efaen allows herself a moment of silence whiles she ascertains her situation. Slowly pulling herself up and away from the pool she turns to address Corliss. Despite the lack of physical difference it is quite clear that a different person is controlling the body. Efaen holds herself straighter, more erect, than Terenia. Her tail arches over her body in the posture of Andalite military personnel.

<Corliss,> she says, not bothering to hide the sneer in her voice, <I was unaware of the fact that Yeerks are stupid as well as evil. When you asked me to kill you, the last time I was freed, I did not because you were under the protection of Prince Ossanlin. Now you allow yourself to be alone with me on a cloaked and shielded ship with Prince Ossanlin far away.>

Temrash reached the general spot where Terenia's ship was supposed to be, and started feeling around for it. Unless it had moved, it should still be physically there. After a bit of searching, he finally bumped into it.

"Let's see if anyone's home." he said. "Terenia! This is Temrash! I am an ally! Are you in there!? Open up!"

((Chad, you wouldn't hit the actual ship, just so you know. The shields are up as well as the cloaking device, which means that there's a minor force field in effect. Nothing that would hurt Temrash, but strong enough to keep him from touching the ship itself. The shields are about three to five feet away from the ships hull))

(Okay, he hit the shield. But I'm not sure if you can tell the difference between a ship hull and a force field when the whole thing is cloaked.)

((Bottom line, Chad, I guess we both don't think you can "knock" on an energy shield.  Sorry :/))

Corliss drops his arms, backing up a few steps and moving his hand toward his holster.  "Now, wait just a minute, Efaen," he says rationally.  "I believe things have changed quite a bit since the last time we met unhindered.  What would killing me and my host prove?  That you have the ability to strike down yet another ally in this miserable situation you and Terenia have found yourselves in?  Or that your tail blade still works?"

(Ok. If you don't think they'd be able to hear his voice, would it be ok if he tried hailing her ship? Or do you just want me to leave you alone?)

((You can try, but if it's cloaked and shielded it might be hard to contact, much like the Mirage has been (plus they've been busy on both fronts so they may not be able to answer...you think Corliss wants to turn his back to Efaen right now? :P)  Just use common sense and write what you think would be the most logical.))

(I'll try to remember. You know, this place fits the Loads and Loads of Characters trope.)

Temrash tried hailing Terenia's ship with a message asking her to come outside, again hoping that the ship wouldn't actively reject messages from an unfamiliar source. He then sat down nearby and waited.

((you really enjoy tvtropes, don't you Chad? :P

EDIT: I'll have the com go off on my next post. Forgot to here))

<It would mean one less Yeerk in the galaxy and that is enough reason for me,> Efaen says derisively. She arches her tail in a clear threat, but she does not send her tail blade towards Corliss' throat. After a moments pause during which she allows him a moment to realize how helpless he would be against her tail in combat she relaxes slightly.

<Of course you are right,> she says, <your death would accomplish little at this point. It may be that you will still become useful, and I am sure that Prince Ossanlin would be upset to return and find one of his dear friends deceased.>

((I almost hate to do this, but I'm "troping" in ( :P) a... few more bodies...))

The cloaked man watched the robot for a minute, unsure of what to do, and then a man stepped out of the door as well. Human, from the look of him. He noticed a Hork-Bajir coming across the field near him, towards where the Bug Fighter had disappeared, and breathed a little bit of a sigh of relief. If there were humans and Hork-Bajir here, he hadn't gone too far. The feeling of relief didn't last long, however; he noticed the larger of the Yeerk craft landing behind him. The two Bug Fighters continued hovering, keeping their weapons trained on the field of ships.

He decided to take a chance. He stood, his cloak changing back to black as he did so, and began walking towards the bar as calmly as he could, praying that the robot and the man near the door wouldn't shoot him on sight. He hated taking risks like this, but it was starting to look like he was out of options.

***

The Yeerk transport landed not far from where the Bug Fighter had disappeared. It bristled with Dracon cannons on all sides, but the Yeerk writing on the side read (roughly translated) "Light in the Darkness." The rear hatch opened, and troops began pouring out. They were comprised mostly of Hork-Bajir. Each wore what looked like a monocle, and in addition to the standard Dracon beam they were carrying, each had a Dracon rifle strapped to their back, and a black band with a crimson stripe around their left arm. Among the troops were also a few humans, similarly equipped and clothed in the same colors. They quickly fanned out around the area, moving with a military precision seldom seen amongst Yeerk forces.

Finally, after perhaps thirty Hork-Bajir and ten humans had disgorged from the craft, a man walked out. He had dark hair, and a large mustache, and from the look of him, was probably Russian in heritage. He had an eyepatch over his left eye, and unlike the rest of the humans, he was unarmed and clothed in a Yeerk dress uniform.

"I want him found!" he yelled in Gallard, with a heavy Russian accent, as he exited the ship. "But keep it friendly! Put your weapons down!" he snapped at the crowd of soldiers fanning out around him. "Don't fire unless you perceive a threat! We don't want to make enemies down here if we don't have to!"

He then began snapping commands to smaller groups of troops. "Team 1, I want you to check out the large ship we saw in the clearing back there. With that many bodies out front, it could be his handiwork. Team 2, check these parked ships, but be careful! We don't want to upset whatever crowd lives down here. Team 3, you're with me. And get those fighters on the ground! Nothing will upset the locals more than this show of force!" Given his choice, he'd be here alone. He worked better without all the intimidation. He supposed, though, that catching a fugitive this dangerous required a bit of force.

The small, fast ship that had been circling the area quickly lowered and landed beside the transport. At the same time, the commander noticed Thienal walking towards him. He sighed. He hated working with these two.

((By the way, the Hork-Bajir and humans are fair game for anyone to play at this point. They're in teams of about 14. They're highly trained, most of them as sharpshooters, and the rest in... I dunno, wilderness survival or something. Whatever. Anyway, the monocle things are like sniper sights if need be. They're a little jumpy, but have been ordered not to fire unless necessary. Right now, they're only searching for my one cloaked dude))

(I think part of your post got cut off.)

Temrash noticed al the Yeerk troops pour out of a recently landed craft. "How did I miss that when I did my scan?"

<Ground level scan.> Jagill said.

"Oh."

One of the teams was coming towards him. He had two dracon beams, but he kept them holstered, and stood next to a tree in a casual manner. Their uniforms were unfamiliar to him, and wondered if they were from another dimension or timeframe. They might not recognize him as a rebel. He waited for them to come to him and hopefully identify themselves.

((Yeah, it got cut off. I fixed it now. I swear, my internet is incapable of holding a conversation with RAF. Oh, and while I'm thinking about it: Hey Tara ^_^ I appreciate the welcome! Also, thanks again, everybody, for being all super-helpful))

((Oh, again while I'm thinking about it: the Yeerk ship that just landed came from a larger cruiser in orbit. I'm betting the characters returning from the Time Cops thread will notice it. It's not a small ship.))

((No worries Kit Optimist Prime. We got you covered. ; ) By the way, how loud is all this Yeerk business outside? Would any characters inside the Bar notice the commotion? Next, descriptions! :P Keshin and Joanne (Yeerk and human) are a brown-haired, hazel-eyed woman. Sort of plain but quite athletic. Tough job. >3 They're wearing a black jumpsuit with pockets and some slight armor in areas. They're also wearing a Dracon on them near the hip, probably like most people in this Bar. XD They're bounty hunters and so may be interested in your young escaping friend. ;3. Mar...is a black-haired, green-eyed pale man. He's dressed in a frilly, old-fashioned black coat....and probably breeches to match. >3 ))

"Huh, so you're way out of your usual territory," states Joanne casually. She's pretty much gotten her bearings straight after the bizarre sounds that echoed through the Bar. "Well, I hope those guys get along right well without ya. And..." Joanne glances off a bit. "...yeah, I'm not the same as Kess."

Joanne gestures throughout the Bar. "I mean, come on. You do know there're a lot of us folks in the Bar? People who have Yeerk buds? We're two people in the same head. Not nuts, though."

Joanne's head then perks up. She's hearing a lot of shouting going on outside, and more rushing about. The Bar was never known for being soundproof. But it sounds...wrong. <Somethin's off, Kess. This is a different fight. Whaddya think's goin' on out there?>

<It sounds more...organized. That isn't good. Keep your weapon at the ready in case they're not friendly.>

<Got it, Kess.>
*******************************************************************************Mar can't help but get a slight smirk on his face as soon as he sees Trey wander off with the Director. Good, that idiotic little doormat is finally gone. I can finally get back to relaxing now...although...

Mar frowns and turns to Elayne with a perplexed expression on his face. "I...I am sorry to bring this up out of nowhere, but I spoke with Myitt's brother earlier. Precious has not called in. I...do not know what is happening and cannot check in this form. Ossanlin is with them too. Do you not also think they have been gone far too long?"

Mar picks up on some kind of noise from outside, but it isn't very loud. Probably just more of the fight that was going on before. He does hope that they slow down so that they do not disturb the quiet of the Bar.

(Paul)

Hearing some sort of spacecraft land nearby, he turned around to see about 30 or so bladed aliens pour out, closely followed by about another 10 or so humans. "****," he mutterd to himself "This can't be good."

Using his visors zoom feature, he focused on one of the bladed aliens. "Well," he said to himself "They ain't Zerg, but they aren't Protoss either. This could get messy."

Slightly hearing someone barking out orders, he instinctivly backed away, because where he comes from Officers mean bad news. [You can have one of them notice him, his rifle is still raised btw]

(John)

While he was lying in the med-bay of the ship waiting for his leg to go numb, he started to feel a tingling sensation start to creep up his leg, starting where the stuff was injected going about halfway to his knee. "Hey Asda, I think that stuff has worked"
