Temrash made his way down the hallway back towards the entrance of the ship. When he got to the outer hatch, he didn't see Parker. "I don't suppose anyone has a communicator to call Parker? He has to be inside. He wouldn't just trot off to the bar after we entered. We can double back and take a right. Morgan, would you rather we split and have some of us get the prisoners to Asda while the rest head for the bridge?"

((sorry guys!))

(John)

Following the others through the ship, he quickly reloaded his Tommy gun and placed the empty magazine in his pocket for reloading later.

Hearing some rather loud footfalls coming from behind him, he turned around just as two more CG guards rounded a corner. Firing from the hip, he killed one with only a few shots, but the other one was smarter. He dived back around the corner and started firing blindly.

As John dived behind a solid steel crate, the remaining guard managed hit him in the ankle, shattering the bone. Screaming in agony, he aimed his gun over the top of the crate and hoped to god that he hit him. [There ya go! someone can rescue my guy as well!]

(Paul)

After he had finished lowering his brothers corpse into the grave, he suddenly heard three almighty impacts from behind him. Quickly shoveling the dirt into the grave, he said a quick prayer, placed his brothers armour and rifle at the head of the grave as a makeshift tombstone.

Heading towards the bar, he saw some smoking craters close to the bar. Switching his helmets power back on, the visor automatically lowered itself. Raising his huge C-14 rifle, he started to walk towards the closest of the three craters. [You can choose which one he walks up to]

((Okay, I guess Gaz didn't want to go in with Parker. :donno: Welcome Al. ))

When the ground shook violently, one of the guards thought that Parker would be off balance, so he attempted to tackle him. As the crewman ran forward, Parker leveled his shotgun and sent his buckshot through the man's skull. Before the body could hit the floor, parker pumped and shot the ship's co-pilot before he leveled his own gun. He pumped the shotgun and aimed at the pilot as he held his gun straight at Parker's head. The two stood motionless for a moment and Thor spoke to Parker, <<Sir, the others are evacuating the ship now.>> Parker nodded his head and lowered his shotgun, "Go ahead. Shoot me." The pilot looked confused as he held a shaky hand still with his free hand, still aiming at Parker's head. With no other words, the pilot shot. Parker's shields flared as it deflected the bullet. Parker raised his shotgun again, "Thank you." With those words, he shot the pilot in the chest, leaving a void where his heart once was. Parker then turned and walked out of the bridge.

As he was walking down the halls, he heard continual gunfire and followed it. He came upon a CG soldier crouched behind a wall. Parker walked up to him as he was peeking around. He put the barrel of his shotgun to the back of his head and said, "Always check your six." After he shot the soldier, he turned the corner and asked, "Who's left here?"

Thordon answered Keshin, "No, I did not come here looking for someone. I created a portal in order to travel to a planet that contained a number of beings that seemed to be in danger. Instead of the portal leading to the planet I had intended, the portal led here. I fear those I hoped to help may be either lost, or dead now.”

Silver helped the woman through the halls. She winced on everyother step, but she never slowed her pace. She could feel her holograms slipping, and she figured it was more important to keep the woman calm, so she lost the creature hologram and diverted her energy towards the woman. With the luck she had, as soon as she had done so, three cg men cam around the end of the hallway. She sat the woman by the wall and grabbed her katana blade from her hip and ran at the men. As they aimed their guns at her to shoot, she jumped over their heads and sliced through each of them, landing on the other side. When she was sure they were out of the way, she went back to get the woman to hurry out. She was still wondering about the large shudders that had went through earlier, and was not sure she wanted to find out what had happened.

Elayne was nodding in agreement with Mar when the the noises outside escalated to a new and more painful level. When the ground itself shook and the Bar shuddered, she gripped the table next to her with one hand--her other seizing what was left of her beer to prevent it from spilling--and stared at Mar, wide-eyed. She wasn't sure what she wanted from him, whether a reassuring smile that they weren't dead yet or perhaps just affirmation that she was not crazy and a second object had nearly decimated the Bar within the span of a few hours.

"Good god, what now?" she demanded, looking towards the windows once the dust had finished falling from the rafters. "This battle's getting a little out of hand," she muttered, assuming the sounds and miniature earthquake were related to it. "Maybe we should relocate to somewhere safer?" she suggested to Mar, Trey, and Belzar.

"John!" Temrash yelled as he was hit. He drew his dracon to return fire, but the guy was shot from behind.

"How big a crew do these guys have?" He asked as silver took down yet more soldiers. Someone get something to wrap John's wound. We're all accounted for, so let's haul."

"Perhaps we should move, but I'm not sure if another area would be more secure." Belzar said.

Another object rockets out of the sky, though this one trails no flames in spite of its extreme speed. It's about the size of an Andalite fighter, but is more or less ovular in shape, and is colored a black so dark that just looking at it seems to send a chill to one's very soul. It appears to be on another collision course for the planet's surface, but it slows and makes a wide turn miles above the bar, showing clearly that it's under powered flight. There is no sign of visible propulsion on the object; indeed, aside from what appears to be a vapor trail forming behind it, it shows no features whatsoever. The object is trailed by dozens of smaller objects... missiles of some sort, perhaps? trailing a sinister red glow. As each smaller object impacts the black object, it causes a white flash, though the trajectory of the black object seems unaffected. Within seconds, it has fallen nearly to the planet's surface, and now a series of sonic booms are clearly audible. At the last second, the black object slows nearly to a stop, and a tiny trail can be seen as the occupant ejects, leaving the black object to fall into the nearby lake with deep splash ((there is a lake near the bar, right?))

***

Thienal floats to the ground, assisted by his antigrav-boots. He appears to be almost human, a boy of perhaps fifteen, with jet black hair, but his skin is too gray. His outfit appears to be a brownish-grey jumpsuit. He watches as the two Yeerk spacecraft impact the planet, leaving nothing but smoking craters, followed shortly by his own ship. He shakes his head; there's no way the Yeerk pilots escaped in time.

Say what you will about these Yeerks, but they certainly don't know how to fly

As he lands in a stand of trees, blending in perhaps a little too well, he takes stock of his situation. There's a small, rundown building nearby, and a large ship with several bodies lying out front. And there, walking cautiously towards the crater created when his ship impacted the surface, weapon drawn, he sees Paul. He chuckles to himself

So, this little rock is inhabited after all

As the black object rockets through the sky, Thienal looks up and smiles.

End of the line

He stealthily makes his way towards the run down building...

The Director stays calm as the impacts hit and shake the ground. After elayne insinuates that they may be related to the battle, he replies, "No, those impacts were caused by something else. Another crashed vessel perhaps. or a meteorite." As she suggests leaving to a safer place he comments, "Sorry to say, but this is the only building on this planet. If you can call it that. The only other safest place would be inside my ship."

Parker nods at Temrash as he approaches and calls for help for Cutter. Parker picks Cutter up and states, "We don't have time. Let's go. The way out is clear." He then turned and went off towards the exit.

Temrash helps Silver with the woman, not wanting the hologram to fall and her go into a flying panic. He makes his way towards Asda's ship, keeping the area of the impacts in his peripheral vision.

They reached the ship and Silver held the hologram long enough to get the woman to Asda and explain what was wrong with her before slowly letting the hologram go and then sitting - a little hard - in a chair.

"John took some damage to his ankle, and will need some attention. We also got Morgan's wife, so you can look at her and this girl too. Nothing worth mentioning elsewhere." Temrash said. He still had that burn wound from the electric rod that was jammed into his chest, but he was a tough warrior and could ignore a lot of pain. He wasn't sure if he should stay close to the frantic girl to try to keep her calm, or if his appearance would do more harm than good for her nerves.

Trey grimaces and clutches at the edges of his chair as the sonic booms shake the bar. There is an incredible racket as bottles clank against one another and dust flies up everywhere, causing Trey to begin coughing heavily. By the time he can speak again the largest and most threatening of the noises have ceased, leaving only the faint trail of gunfire from the distant battle.

"What -" cough "-was that?" Trey asks, wide eyed.

----

Terenia smiles at Corliss and is about to respond to his comment about enjoying her company when there is a sudden fiery flash that is followed by the incredible sound of an impact crater being made.

<Get in!> Terenia cries, galloping up the ramp in two quick strides and ushering Corliss aboard with her. She watches through the viewscreen of the Bug Fighter as a fourth object plummets to the ground a safe distance away, near the lake.

<Dear God,> she says, <it never ends here, does it? This planet is a magnet for trouble.>

Corliss turns at the sound of the impact.  "What the Christ?" he exclaims, but as Terenia ushers him along he jumps on board and hurries into the cabin.

He steps up to the viewscreens next to Terenia, out of breath.  "What is that?" he asks, mystified by the fiery glow looming off beyond the bar.  "Bloody hell.  In this place?  If it's a normal asteroid, I'll eat my hat.  Can you run a scan on...erh, whatever's left out there?"

<Yeah,> Terenia says, placing her bag on the floor and booting up the computers. As soon as the hatch is securely closed she sets to work, ordering the computers to run a full scan of the impact area.

<There's a lot going on over there,> Terenia says, a frown in her voice, <quite a few organic lifeforms...some more living than others. I guess that's the shots we heard earlier. One of the objects that fell is definitely a spacecraft of some sort. It fell into the lake, it looks like. I can't get a clear read on the other objects. Wait...> her fingers move deftly over the controls as she narrows the scan, <I'm reading a Yeerk signal on at least two of the impact craters. Yeerk craft. Or at least, it was Yeerk craft.>

She shifts uncomfortably, her stalk eyes moving erratically around the enclosed quarters. The escalating situation outside makes her nervous, but a sense of urgency reminds her that she needs to feed before the Mirage returns. She turns back to Corliss, looking a bit awkward.

<Normally I restrain Efaen,> she says, looking embarrassed, <but given the...recent changes in our circumstances...I think I can leave her unrestrained. If she tries to do anything though...> she lets the implications hang, not really wanting to finish the sentence. She isn't sure what she expects Corliss to do against an Andalite, and she isn't entirely sure that she wants to know what he is capable of doing, should the situation call for it.
