Lucan led Priton/Genie to the Koltan. It was a very impressive and beautiful ship that Lucan had built himself.

It had the shape of a giant bird with its wings swept forward. The predatory bird on Fringe, the Koltan had been Lucans’ inspiration for his ship. The wide forward-swept wings were a deep, dark green in color. Its body was a deep dark blood red in color. The head was bright gold in color and housed the c.ockpit.

It was powered by three Ludak T-9000 engines and had the ability to make .7 in hyperspace. He had installed two Nukul scram jets under the tip of each wing allowing him to flip the ship 180 degrees to face backwards along his flight path, but maintain his forward momentum. This had saved him several times in his smuggling past.

His weapons systems included two double laser cannons at the end of each wing. He also had two cruise torpedo launchers on the end of each wing. In the rear of the ship he had installed a double laser cannon and two concealed cruise torpedo launchers.

He turned and looked at Priton/Genie to see their reaction to his creation. “I present to you, the Koltan.”

<Wow. That beats our bug fighter, doesn't it?>

Priton whistled appreciatively. <No kidding.> He looked at Lucan. "It's not bad."

<Jerk.>

Priton grinned. "Genie's marginally more impressed."

Lucan smiled when Genie showed her appreciation for his ship.

“Do you require assistance transferring your cargo to my ship?”

"No, ah... we can get it." Priton turned and headed toward his bug fighter, which wasn't too far away. He opened the hatch and stepped inside.

The already small space was mostly taken up by a rolled up sleeping bag--there wasn't anywhere to sleep otherwise--a small pile of extra clothes, and, of course, a portable yeerk pool.

Priton closed up the yeerk pool, which had a lid and a handle, set the pile of clothes on top of it, put the sleeping bag under under one arm, picked up the pool by its handle. He glanced around the fighter. <You're sure about this?>

<You're not backing out now, are you?>

<'Course not. Just thought I'd give us a last chance.> Priton turned and left the ship without looking back.

"Somehow this doesn't seem like a good thing." Belzar said worredly as he tried to move away from the thing. He attempted to activate his shield system, but that was one of the most damaged things inside him. In fact it had probably been desintegrated by now. He tried to stagger away, but his legs wouldn't work anymore. The most he could do was try to pull the cackling thing out, which even he didn't think would work. He was helpless.

The tendrils of smoke appear to inspect Belzar's mechanical body inside and out.  Whatever this creature, or entity, is, it isn't causing Belzar any harm.  It attempts to heal the damaged mechanisms it touches inside his metal body, but it is not used to the wholly mechanical.

Terenia is about to offer her help as a translator, in case Elayne too does not have a working chip, but cuts off abruptly when the liquid oozes from the floorboards. This is something she has never seen before and immediately her hand flies to her side, grasping at air.

<Damn, my Dracons,> she hisses, skittering back away from the material. She glances towards the back hallway, where her transponder and Dracon Beams have been left in a locked room, but hesitates to go after them. She has no idea if the liquid is volatile or not, and Keshin is her only ticket out of the bar. Terenia isn't entirely sure about the bounty hunter's fighting abilities and doesn't particularly want to leave her to her own defenses. Instead, she backs towards the bar, maneuvering herself closer to Keshin. She watches the ooze surround the machine cautiously, only taking minor note when Mar throws himself in front of Elayne.

Belzar slowly calmed down as it seemed the entity wasn't harming him. Peerhaps it wanted to help, but it was making a bad first impression. The body itsself had various puncture, burn, and acid wounds. His enemies had thrown everything they had at him to prevent him from completing his mission. Wires hung loosely inside his body, and a few even hung outside holes. All of it could be easily replaced, but he was mostly concerned about his processor core. It was located where a Human heart would be, and was the main thing that made Belzar Belzar.

Elayne's eyes widened in surprise when Mar moved himself between her and the strange substance, and she grabbed his arm as much to assure herself he was actually there as to keep herself steady on the uneven floorboards. "Killed Myitt?" she asked him, her tone incredulous even though her voice was quiet. Her wide eyes had been fixed on the black ooze, but now they turned to the one individual in the room who seemed nonchalant about the whole thing: the Bartender. "Just who the hell is he, Mar?" she whispered, letting go of his arm, her other hand still clutching her small detail-work pliers. "And why would someone with those kinds of... abilities be bartending in the back-ass end of nowhere?"

The tendrils of black smoke hang warily around Belzar's body for a few more moments, fixing whatever they can--it isn't much.

An ear-splitting screech of disappointment echoes through the rafters, and the Bouncer withdraws from Belzar's body, sinking back into the floor.  A few bubbling spots of black ooze gurgle between the floorboards, but then they, too, are gone.

The bartender appears unfazed, still drying his glass.

"I believe my motor functions have improved. That was very strange." Belzar said. "Though I am still in need of some repair, I believe I would like to go back outside now." He stared at the bartender with suspicion, though you couldn't see it because he didn't have much of a face. "I get the feeling that thing was looking for something as well."

Terenia inches towards the hallway. Everyone seems adequately distracted by the strange black goo, and after a moment or two she is fairly sure that it will not harm the robot.

<Can a robot even feel pain?> she muses to herself. No matter. As the liquid began to dissolve she turned and approached the door to the room she had hidden in previously. The door was still locked, and she swiftly used her tail blade to slice off the knob. Reaching through the hole she has created, she opens the door and enters. Lying on the floor where she had morphed into the insect is her holster and transponder. She picks the two items up, strapping the holster around her waist and checking her transponder. No incoming calls. As of yet Zorish has not contacted her. For some reason this leaves an unsettled feeling in Terenia's stomach. She ignores it.

Satisfied that everything is back where it belongs, Terenia exits the side room and returns to the bar proper just in time to see the goo dissolve and Belzar rise.

<Belzar,> she asks, <if you don't mind my asking, where exactly are you from? I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like you.>

Lucan saw Genie walking towards him carrying a large roll of fabric he assumed was a sleep pad. She was also carrying a large box that appeared to be luggage.

He led her to the rear of the ship and said “Ubah” and the ships’ ramp extended.

He walked up the ramp and led her to the extra quarters “These will be your quarters.” They were average size quarters and had a bed installed.

"Thanks." Priton set the clothes and sleeping bag on the bed. He looked around for a convenient spot to put the yeerk pool before finally settling for putting in the corner farthest from the door. He stepped back to consider the set up. "That'll do for now, I guess."

Lucan watched Genie set her luggage down “When you are finished you may join me in the c.ockpit. I will begin takeoff procedures shortly.” He left Genie and proceeded to the c.ockpit.

The c.ockpit was uniquely designed it had a pilots chair that had a 180 degree control board and two passenger chairs to either side of the door. As Lucan started the take-off cycle and strapped himself in he waited and hoped Genie, not Priton would be present.
