<I am not loyal to Visser Three,> Terenia snarls, her eyes flashing dangerously, <he is a murderer and an abomination. He is trying to destroy my people. Under any other circumstances I would be resisting him with every cell in my body.>
Terenia takes a moment to calm herself down, breathing deeply and relaxing her hands, which she had not even noticed had balled up into fists. When she speaks again her thoughts are still angry, but somewhat calmer.
<I do not understand why you seem to think my situation is any of your business, or why it is your duty to help me. The bottom line is that the only way to solve this is to convince my sister that the Empire is not where she belongs, and I doubt a tirade of Andalites is going to do that. She needs me, and only me. If you want proof that I am not loyal to the Empire, fine. Give me a secure communication route and once I return to the Blade Ship I'll give you whatever useful information I get. Intelligence is of no use to me and who knows, maybe I'll be able to find a fight you actually can win.>
She ignores Claxter's response, although in her head Efaen is sulking over his words.
<Tell him to leave me alone,> she begs, <he almost lost a tail because of me. We both know that Visser Three is not a merciful creature. If he attempts to help us, he will die.>
<Trust me, Efaen, if there were something I could say to make your loverboy leave us alone, along with that captain of his, I would.> Terenia responds to Efaen dryly, <These Andalites are more stubborn and arrogant than I remember - no wonder I left them. Suicidal morons.>
