"Ok, here's the file," Gaz said as she opened it.

A new video played, it was the dead man obviously prior to death.

"Hey, Morgan," he said, "I'm sorry about the video I had to hide this in, but I knew it would get the message across."

"It certainly did," Morgan muttered.

"So, as you probably guessed, the CG is going to re-start the Myth Project. I was able to get you schematics of the lab and location. After this video is done, you'll be asked to enter a password...I think you know the one so I don't need to go into details. Just in case this isn't you watching.:

"You do know it, right?" Gaz asked.

Morgan nodded. "I know it."

"There's something else," the man said, "it turns out the project has been running for a good half a year now. So there are probably people in there already. I wasn't able to find a list of names, but I marked on the map where they'll be."

The man paused a moment and took a breath.

"Well," he continued with a sad smile, "when you get this, I'll more than likely be dead. Caven has an idea that I've got important information and he'll be coming after me."

The man sighed and muttered, almost to himself, "Caven...can't believe it's comin to this. Used to be...back when...it doesn't matter. I'll make sure he doesn't find this disc and I've left instructions with Cortex on what to do. Sorry I won't get to see you again. Tell the gang I said hi."

When the video vanished, a screen prompting a password popped up. Morgan entered the password without saying anything.

Mar unstraps himself from the seat a bit unsteadily, nervous that yet another bizarre attack will happen during his watch and he won't be able to do a thing about it. He then steps down the ship's ramp and back into the Bar, sitting close to Elayne. This whole thing with women is irking him slightly. There are far more interesting people to meet in the Bar, and yet he finds himself drawn to every beautiful woman that enters. This was not an issue before I chose to take this avatar. I must remember that Precious is watching.

Mar raises his hand and nods at the bartender. "White wine this time, please."

Keshin turns his head towards the door and notices that the missing members of the Bar are slowly filing in. Keshin stands up, rolls his eyes at Myitt and says, "Just what the hell happened with you guys? You all ran off, apparently got shot at, and went up in a Bug fighter. Does someone want the rebellion's head on a platter again?"

Elayne had moved to sit at the bar by the time Mar took a seat near her. She slid her empty mug towards the bartender and, while Mar had his attention at their end of the room, she said, "And I need something to eat. Whatever you got that's hot, tasty, and fit for human consumption will do."

When she heard a familiar voice, she turned to look at its source: it was Keshin and Joanne. She had not realized they had already re-entered the bar. After eavesdropping on their conversation for only a moment, she spun around again to face the bartender, who was setting before her a steaming bowl of something that looked enough like stew that her stomach grumbled in greeting. "Smells good," she remarked and then frowned up at him. "Got any spoons?" At his deadpan expression, she gave a short laugh, lifted the bowl with both hands, and drank from it like a giant cup. Remarkably, she managed not to spill any.

Thordon looked to the new human, "Hello again. I'm sorry we were never properly introduced. I am Thordon." Thordon extended his bottom right hand, as his top right hand was holding his drink.

Elayne carefully set down the bowl and looked to Thordon's hands with a quizzical expression, as if they were a puzzle she had to decipher. After determining which one he meant for her to shake, but she grasped it almost too firmly, halfway expecting him to be composed of light still -- made of something she could squeeze right through if she tried hard enough. "I'm Elayne. And you've met Mar?" she asked, releasing his hand and leaning back a little so the men could see each other.

"Ah, ah, don't touch that!" Corliss yelps, pressing the control again and tapping a number of holoscreen icons that come flying up to demand his attention.  "That's the bloody cloak control, you're lucky it wasn't the emergency circuit disruptor.  A well-trained warrior learns to look and to ask, before acting."

He turns the ship around and pilots it toward the bar parking area, glad to have the Skimmer out of the woods--literally and figuratively--for the time being.  Its cloaked form lands not too far behind Myitt's ship, on a patch of bare earth and gravel.

Corliss unbuckles himself and stands up, glancing at the back of the cabin once more.  "Hello?" he calls again.  "Anybody home?"

---

Myitt takes her time walking back to the bar, and pushes the door open slowly.  The warmth and bustle of the place is comforting to her after a tense battle, and she steps up to the bar counter, taking a seat not too far from Thordon, Elayne and Mar.  She glances over at Morgan, Gaz, and the strange girl whose name she had already forgotten.  They were watching some sort of video, and there was a large box on the floor.  She wasn't too sure from this distance, but she thought the box might contain a dead body.

<Either that or a mannequin,> Tara remarks dryly.

<Huh.  I wonder what that's all about.>

"I'll have a glass of water, bartender," she asks quietly.  "Clean."

The bartender wordlessly hands her a glass of water, then goes back to standing motionless behind the counter.

Thordon met Elayne's grip with the appropriate amount of force. "Yes, we've met." Thordon gives Mar an acknowledging nod.

Silver had been listening and watching the video from her spot at the bar and now focused more on the screen as she wiped her Katana blade down. Marked floor plans and such began to pop up on the screen and she watched, a small frown showing on her face. "That place......looks familiar..." she stated going a little closer.

Ossanlin watches Terenia in silence for a moment.  <Whether you desire to follow Visser three really doesn't make any difference at this point.  As long as he has your sister in his possession, you are his own especially trustworthy lackey.  You jump when, how, and where he says.  You have already implied that you will do anything for your sister.  That means you will do anything for Visser Three.  If you wish to deny that you require or desire help, that's fine.  But you lie outright when you say that Efaen does not want help.  If you wish to turn your own back on assistance, then my interest falls only to helping Efaen.  Even if Efaen did not desire help, I cannot allow a morph-capable host ultimately under Visser three's control to reenter his service.>

<I am by nature a compassionate person, I have a desire to help people, which is why I joined the academy.  War has taught me ruthlessness.  From an unemotional and unethical point of view, the quick of it is very simple, I cannot allow a loyal morph-capable host to reenter service to the Empire.  If we have a plan that will gain results, and if I have a tracker in Efaen, I could see my way into allowing you to return if Efaen truly wishes to be your host even temporarily.  If I relied only on ruthless facts, you would not return under any circumstances and Efaen would be freed and tested for mental damage.  But I do not...I allow my compassion to affect my thinking, an imperfection many would say.  I say that by doing so I remain Andalite instead of becoming a soulless vessel of war.>

Ossanlin watches Corliss exit the skimmer and follow after speaking with Efaen.  <Claxter, I know that we are to be on leave at the moment, but I would like you to be Terenia's escort.  Please monitor her transmission to Visser three.  Do not hinder her actions unless necessary.>  He switches to private thought-speech.  <<I apologize for the onerus task, but Efaen and Terenia are much more comfortable with you.  I do not wish them to feel like they are jailed, and they certainly will if I follow them everywhere, but we cannot trust Terenia alone.  I am not commanding you to do this, I am asking you as a favor to keep an eye on them.>>

He stops just outside and looks back at Terenia with his main eyes.  <Make your transmission, we can discuss the terms of your return later.  I would like to avoid bringing more loyal controllers to this place.>

((okidokey, i'm gonna add my new character now!))

Jumping out of hyper-space, the battered, single person ship did a quick scan for any planets with life-forms.

Balthazar is a young 9 foot tall Malonian male, with the scars of all his previous battles showing all over his large muscular arms and what you can see of his torso. His species has skin colours ranging from golden brown all the way to dark red in colour.

His facial features are, in a word, striking. Protruding about 1 whole foot from his forhead, sweeping back around are a pair of grayish coloured horns with some slight cracks in them from fights. He has a humanoid shaped head, and his skin colour is a dark tan colour, a rarity in his species. He has no hair on the top of his head, but he has a small amount of facial hair, which he has trimmed into the shape of a long goatee style beard. If he smiles, and he rarely does so, you are able to see his pointed canine teeth, and a snake-like split tounge.

His shipboard computer beeping, he turned his attention to a small planet-like moon that is mostly forested, but with a few lakes here and there. Guiding the small spaceship to an empty patch in the landing zone, he misjudged the landing and he damaged the rear left landing gear. Balthazar's ship is known as a ScytheDart on his home planet. The shape of the ship is long and rather skinny, hence the 'dart' part of the naming. It gets the 'scythe' part from the scythe shaped wings protruding from the sides, near the end, making a shape like a miniature axe. Suspended below the wings, are a number of weapon systems, most notably, the dual Gatling lazers and the small thermonuclear missiles that are snuggled right up against the ship's body.

Quickly grabbing his weapon belt, he made sure that his throwing knives and small plasma pistol were attached. He also grabbed his black denim vest and he then buckled the belt through the loops on his bloodstained blue jeans and then he tossed his tattered black vest on, so it covered a majority of the scars on his torso and most of his belt.

Pressing a few buttons inside the c0ckpit, the nano-phase hull melted away to allow him to jump out and to survey his surroundings. Looking around, he saw a multitude of different ships, and even a huge junkyard to one side.

Walking over to the only building in sight, he pushed open the door, but before he went inside, he looked around and he saw a number of different lifeforms all talking and drinking. Ducking through the door, making sure to not hit the top of the door-frame, he walked up to the bartender and said in a gutteral, almost gravelly sounding voice "Bartender, I'll have a bottle of the strongest whiskey you have. And a clean shot glass as well"

((Mythica, I'm so sorry, I realized after the fact that Parker had intended Thordon to be talking to you. I'm I big dummybutt, lol. Alright, time for my character to get distracted so y'all can have your conversation, if you wish!))

Something about the way Thordon answered Elayne made her think these two had some kind of history beyond just a handshake and a nod, and she was about to inquire what that was when she heard the lowest voice she could had ever imagined. Turning her head up to look at this strange new creature, she blinked and looked to Mar with questioning eyes. What is that? she wondered.

<Yes. Sorry sir.> Claxter said to Corliss. Although he wasn't sure what Corliss' rank was, or if he had one.

Ossanlin asked him to escort Terenia. He had decided earlier that he would give Efaen some space, but an order as an order. Corliss didn't really need him anyway. <Yes my Prince.>

<I suppose we'll be going to your ship, Terenia?>
