Ossanlin regards the "Helghans" as they called themselves, apparently a different derivative of humans.  Though this derivative was apparently a very important one to them.  <I am a War-Prince as Aliciania mentioned.  Captain of a Dome Ship.  So I suppose whatever rank is equivalent to commanding a large capital ship for your people.  I appreciate you lowering your weapons.>

Ossanlin looks over at Myitt and grimaces.  <You're going to try and hit Seran?  You could use me...but I take up a lot of space.  I suppose covertness is important.>  Ossanlin tries to keep the anger from seeping into his voice.  He had a deep-seeded hatred for Seran though he didn't like to admit it.  <My fighter-yacht is exceedingly fast and has a masking device that makes it nearly invisible and sensor-blind.>  He truthfully wanted to be the one to kill Seran, but he fell back to his training as he always did and it warned him that these feelings made a poor warrior and an easy mark.  Striking in anger was not the answer whatever the case.  It was probably better if he didn't go.

Ossanlin shakes his head and looks at Alic for a moment, suddenly deciding he'd rather be where she was, wherever that would be.  <If you get into trouble, call me immediately, and I mean immediately!  I'll be aboard the Tyrennian and on the way before you finish the word "may-day.">

Seran:

Seran sets the code on the Yeerk pool to release the stasis pod in a couple of minutes and slithers his way back into his hork-bajir host, quieting the annoying being's mind immediately.  Not more than a minute after getting himself settled around his host's brain, the stasis pod slides open and he walks out into the med-bay.  Without any delay whatsoever, he picks up his data-pad and connects with his computer's drive, downloading the last trip's data as well as all of the sensor tellemitry received.  He didn't trust anyone finding that information in his computer's history.  Instead, he wiped the main drive after downloading the information and walked briskly past a Gedd controller that had already unsealed his ship inside the dock.  The creature is quite beneath his notice and he walks by without a word into the dock.

"Visser, so nice of you to visit us, I see you've been hit..."  The sub-visser was a human controller and somewhat self-righteous Seran could already tell.

"Do not patronize me with your pleasantries Sub-Visser,"  Seran is sure to stress the "Sub" part of the other Yeerk's title... "Send an immediate signal to my Blade Ship to meet me here.  And I will need private access to your long-range Z-Space transponder within the hour."

"Visser, private access..."  The sub-visser's expression turns from haughty to timid under Seran's gaze.

"You will do as you are told!"  Seran walks from the dock into the main facility, the sub-visser trailing him at a short distance.

"We have prepared the conference area for you, it is private and you will not be bothered."

"Then show me to it and get out of my sight."  Seran walks in front of the sub-visser but watches the human for cues and arrives in short order at the conference room.  He lets himself in and shuts the door in the sub-visser's face, running a scan of the room.  There are sensors and scanners of course.  Seran activates his personal EMP dampener and the sensor signals scramble, giving him true privacy.  He begins to work on the data obtained, calculating, triangulating, and extrapolating to find the most-likely position for Myitt's litte rebel band.  He grins to himself as he works on the holo-display of the datapad.

Alic too wanted to help, but she would take up too much room and knew she must wait unless she was needed.
<I'll stay here with Ossanlin. Don't hesitate to call us. If a fight is brought here I am much more useful on the ground.> She didn't show the disappointment she was feeling that she may miss the action... Again. But Ossanlin would be here with her if anything happened, and Alic had a feeling they would make a damn good team.

"I'm afraid I take up a good bit of space as well. Zoshonel can go. He isn't too large, as long as he can keep those wings folded tight. That makes him, Kara, Mar, and either Myitt or Corliss. I'll grab Ardiss. The rest of use will be on standby, and ready to get there. It may even be better for us to take another ship and fly to a safe distance away. That way we could get there in minutes, instead of days."

Temrash got a call. "Speak............Al right. Thank you. Stand by for further orders." He said. "Guys, the ship's log has been wiped. But my friend saw Seran take a data chip before being escorted to a cenferance room. Private. Even the inside sensors have been muffled. He's having a bladeship called."

Kara nods obediently as Temrash and the others announce the parts that they will play.

"I, uh, think I should mention..." Kara adds, blushing, "I don't really know how to fly the ship. Ardiss was an excellent flier but....well, there was really no need for me to pay attention to what she was doing. I'm sure I could access the memories, but there's likely to be a bit of a learning curve."

"I'll go," says Myitt.  "And I can fly a Cruiser-class.  I'll need someone to man weapons, and Kara, perhaps you can help me co-pilot a bit, if you feel comfortable.  It's a big ship, even a Bug runs best with two pilots."

"I'll maintain contact here, in case the bastard returns," says Corliss.  "Though I doubt very much getting a drink is high on his list of priorities.  As of now the base is on high alert, evacuation standby, with those who are in the infirmary already on board the medical ship."

"Good, we'll give the order if we're certain scouts are on their way to our location," says Myitt.  She turns to her friends, Shal and Breekan, all of those who are remaining at the bar.  "Please, guys, be careful.  We'll be back soon."  She steps over to Ossanlin and Alic, handing them a small black square with rounded edges.  "If any of you need to contact us, use my link, you can run a scan to pinpoint Ardiss' ship and Corliss' personal link." She taps the link and a tiny blue holoscreen scanner pops up, scrolling fluid text.

"I guess this is yours, then," says Corliss smarmily, handing his sibling his link.

"You're so quick," says Myitt appreciatively, grinning and taking the device in a quick movement.  She looks back at her Andalite friends, eyeing the scanner.  "You...do know how to read Yeerkish, right?  I mean, the characters at least are very similar to Andalite..."

"Alright! Action!"  Zoshonel yelled.

"You take all your oders from Myitt, Zoshonel. We're counting on you to be a competent warrior."

"Yes sir."

"I'll send a message to my operative to see if he can stopp the Sub-Visser from contacting the Bladeship. It would be really good if you could get everything done before it gets there.

"I can co-pilot," Kara says, with about a nano's more confidence. She looks around at the hastily put together crew and swallows. She had been hoping to enjoy some quiet time in her freedom, but apparently the galaxy had other plans.
"Alright, let's go," she says, heading out the door. She glances back periodically to make sure that the group is following.

Temrash and Zoshonel follow her, with temrash carrying Ardiss' container. "Hopefully everyone will return safely, and ardiss' new host will be here before you get back."

"Well, this is a new one," Gaz muttered as she did the checks on her ship. "I've been left out because I was a pirate plenty of times. But never because I didn't fly a Yeerk ship."

Gaz wasn't a fan of dealing with the Yeerk Empire especially. She just had a taste for action, and hated to miss out.

She wandered back into the bar to see what Fletcher was doing.

"Everything in good shape?" Fletcher asked.

"It certainly is," Gaz replied. "It's suddenly gotten to quiet for my tastes. What say we head out. Don't want to miss our ship. Anyone wants us, they can contact us."

"If you can stay hidden, Gaz, we'd appreciate some backup fire," says Myitt, adjusting her jacket and gun belt.  "In case things get ugly.  Your ship probably has a cloaking device, yes?  Of course, if you have another engagement, that's fine."  She glances at her friends, smiling a little.  "That goes for the rest of you, too.  Just as long as you bastards can stay off Imperial tracking systems."

"My ship can. What about yours, Zoshonel?" Temrash said.

"I don't know. It's not really designed to be too sneaky. It has some cloaking, but I wouldn't bet the mission on it being good enough for powerful sensors. Besides, I'll be with Myitt and the others, and I'm not comfortable about other people piloting my ship."

Gaz grinned. Sneaking about? She liked the sound of that.

"It surely does," Gaz replied as she adjusted her hat. "One of the best. Plus a few special pirate suited modifications."

Then Gaz turned to Fletcher and asked, "How's our schedule look?"

"The cargo ship doesn't leave until next week," Fletcher said. "We got time."

"So," said Gaz, "when's this little venture head out?"

"Right now," says Myitt.  "As in, I can't stand around here talking about it.  Seran might already have managed to send the data network wide."  She bites her lip and looks over at Corliss.  "You're staying here?"

He nods.  "If nothing else it might serve as a decent refuge," says Corliss.  "But I can't stay forever.  Especially if we do have to evacuate.  Hey...be careful out there, mate."

"You too, Cor," says Myitt, looking a little forlorn.  She smiles quickly.  "This place can be pretty rough."

"Yes, I sort of noticed," says Corliss wryly.

"Good.  I've got my comm.  Call me if you hear anything."  Myitt nods, then steps outside with the rest of her accompanying friends.  She eyes Zoshonel hesitantly.  He was just a kid, after all, and he didn't seem very experienced.  The last thing she needed was him getting in the way of a very time critical and delicate situation.  "You gonna be okay, Zosh?" she asks as they crunch through the gravelly parking area.

Mar quietly follows the rest of the group towards the ship, smiling to himself. I'm glad they decided to allow my passage. I would have felt uncomfortable if both of my quarries went off on a dangerous mission without me.

Mar walks up the line towards Myitt and states almost jovially, "A fine mess we've gotten ourselves into."

Myitt smirks to herself as she walks.  "Okay, Hardy," she replies to Mar.  "Glad you could join us, Mar.  For what it's worth, you really are welcome, I think we'll need you.  Just please don't play up the whole soul snatching bit, alright?"  She shudders.  "Weirds me out."
