((Yeah I ran away for a little bit...I watched Chocolat last night, it was fun

I'm going to guess that Jessi is busy because she's totally getting married in a few days, so we'll push on a bit. I totally wish we could all crash her wedding...in, you know, the non-obnoxious-we-brought-cash-gifts-and-don't-need-table-settings kind of way x3))
Myitt helps Mar and her other companions on board Ardiss' ship, warming up the engines. The ship lifts off the ground and cruises through the atmosphere, flames flickering around the shielding as it ascends through the atmosphere into space.
"Yup," Myitt sighs contentedly, sitting at the main controls and setting the nav computer coodinates toward Nerkin. "I like this ship. Kara, you can take the Taxxon spot. There's no chair, I guess you're used to that. Someone who isn't trigger happy can take weapons. Just don't
touch them for god's sake. Hold on to something."
The ship jolts nauseatingly as it blinks into z-space, inertial dampeners kicking in a few nanoseconds late. The world's worst turbulence.

"Simple, we get the uniform from my ship and we ask him to try it on," says Corliss, looking at Ossanlin. "Sound like a plan, mate?"
He stares back at Shal, still holding the link, spinning it idly in between his hands. "She's barely left, Shal," he says quietly, guessing what she's looking for. "We've had this happen before. Once. Wasn't pretty, but 'ey, we're still alive, yeah? We'll be alright." He glances down at the bar, at the link in his hands, gently flicking it like a paper football. It moves a few centimeters. "We've gotta be alright. We're too pretty to die." He grins a bit.
