She smiled when his eyes changed as well. The sheer color was enough then she seen the lightening in his eyes. She wondered what was held in store for her during her journey with this godling.

Blast then laughed, ''Oh and an FYI, the people in my dimension reffer to me as Thor. No one says my name. But i have this portal set for a 30 minute period. It is set to take you through to my estate. Im going to go there now and check on things, once the portal closes I will leave. Any of you that do decide to follow can come, i wont hold it against any of you who doesnt come.''

And like that he winked at Silver, and walked into the portal. Once on the other side he walked up the stairs and down the hall, passing all of the 40 rooms on that floor until the last.

Unlocking the door and stepping inside, Blast calmly stated, ''Computer power on.''

''Welcome back Thor. How may I be of assistance?'' Said the male computer voice through the speakers that ran through his home.

''I need a new scan done, the Andalites were not on the last planet. Scan all of the frequencies in the dimension. Any sign of Andalites I would like to be put on my private files. Alert me when your done.''

''Very well. Were you able

Post Merged: March 17, 2011, 02:12:54 AM
to gain any assistance from the locals?'' The voice responded.

''Im not sure. It is a possibility. I do know one is coming, her name is unimportant but her alias is Silver. Anything she needs, i would like to be handled immediately.''

''Yes sir.''

He then reclined in his seat, and a hologram screen appeared. Pressing on one of the holographic buttons, he scanned the message he recieved from the King of his planet.

Brother, the situation is worsening. The royal scientists believe the deadline is only weeks away. Please hurry Thor. We all depend on you.
- King of Uruk, and your loving brother Shazam.

He then sighed, he didnt want to respond with bad news...

''Computer I am feeling lazy. Please reply to my brothers message alerting him of my failure.''

''Yes sir.''

''Thank you.'' Blast said and left the room to begin down the stairs towards the portal to await any guests.

Silver watched as he stepped through. She should have had even the slightest twinge of doubt about this, but she had none at all. That only meant she was headed where she was needed and meant to go. She grabbed her pooch that held a few weapons and her crystals and such. She steppedup to the portal then looked at the others. "if I do not see you.... Good Journey." she said using an old way warriors wished them luck when they didn't want to say good bye. After that she turned and stepped through the portal to the otherside.

Blast nodded a greeting, ''Computer this is Silver.''

''Welcome miss.'' Came the response through the speakers again.

''Silver welcome to my home. As you can tell I am pretty well off.'' He said with a chuckle as he gestured to the vast room they stood in. The room was 25 yards wide and 40 long, while stretching up far enough as to be impossible to see the top unless the chandeliers were lit.

''My brother is the King of my people, and he loves me so...he shows it with more money than i could spend in 60 lives, equipment enough to build my A.I. computer, and a 400 room house with 150 bathrooms. Hope thats not to intimidating or anything.''

He then gestured to a small couch, ''Would you like a seat as we wait?''

Salem lifted his head and looked on in interest as Blast opened the portal to the shadow realm. It was a process he hadn't seen take place before, and he was mesmerized. Could it be the same "Shadow Realm" the Erathak frequented? He doubted they were the same- odds were that different universes each had corresponding shadow realms, as far as he could figure. Still, even the tiniest chance that this might be his quick ticket home... the draw he felt to it...

He shook his head. Even if he could go home now he didn't have what he needed. On a whim, he pulled his remote control-like scanner from his pocket and aimed it at the portal. He pressed a few buttons and it trilled. It might not show anything for this phenomenon, but it was better than nothing. While he was at it, he clicked it at the people aboard the ship he hadn't imaged with it yet.

Now it seemed Silver wanted to accompany Blast. Salem smirked at their conversation- taking risks and believing and bravery and honor and fighting spirit. Ideals. The two of them were guided by their ideals. It made him nostalgic, in a way. He had fond memories of the time when he'd been so idealistic. He looked at them sadly, wondering whether time would serve to quash the idealism in them as it had in him.

Before Blast stepped through the portal, Salem nodded at him, "I do wish you luck, Immortal. I'm sorry I can't hold up my end of our deal. You're in more of a hurry than I realized, and without time and information to prepare, what you're asking is too big a risk for me. Still, I hope you can save your people."

Salem then turned his attention to Silver. He'd wanted to talk to her. He had trades he could offer someone with her abilities. Things that she might be able to use, that he never could. In fact, some of them might help her immensely on this journey.

"Silver," he began, but she was already gone. After a moment's silence, he finished his sentence quietly, to himself, with "good luck."

It seemed that Blast was in more of a rush than Taylis was expecting.  "I failed to make myself clear," she said.  "My host doesn't wish to join you and I must follow her wishes."

((Too many posts! Curses! Well, I'm coming back regardless! Time seems slow today. ;P ))

Mar watches the exchange between Terenia and Ossanlin carefully. He's still surprised that she managed to get into Corliss' host's body without complaint. There's something going on here that he doesn't know about. Mar grumbles at this under his breath. His lack of omnipotence in a given area is more than a little infuriating. Ascending briefly might be a relief. But Ossanlin's description of the mission seems to complicate matters. Mar puts his hand on Ossanlin's arm, looking anxious.

"...you will be taking a lot out of yourself in attempting to help the fool," says Mar. It's hard to get across what he wants to say. "To complicate matters further...I...I do not exist in ascended form. This...was not a problem initially due to the strength of the link between this persona and the larger Mass. But since I feel so distant now, the Highest and I may behave differently. I doubt he will attack someone he interprets as a possible General, but I cannot say for sure what he will actually do. I will try to maintain as close a contact as I can. I think it can be done."

Mar growls irritably at Terenia. "...but you owe me for the effort made. I will not ask the greater price, or perhaps any at all. I am doing this for the War-Prince and not for you, brat. But if I need a favor, I will request one."

Terenia's stiffens as Mar addresses her, and she is reminded of the first time they met; it was an encounter that had nearly ended with the strange being beheaded. She was beginning to wish that Efaen hadn't chosen that moment to stage an uprising.

"I have no desire to be in debt to the likes of you," she says scathingly. Secretly she is glad for the excuse, the way out. It would seem foolish to deny Ossanlin's offer outright. He wouldn't understand; she barely understood. But with the matter of repayment involved, she could justify her decision.

"Ossanlin," Terenia says, choosing her words as carefully as she is able. "I do not doubt that you mean well. All Andalites do. However, relying on some sort of demon to allow you to achieve your ends seems a bit like selling your soul to the devil, doesn't it?" She laughs hollowly, entirely ignorant of how close to Mar's true dealings she is. "I cannot accept this offer if it indebts me to him. I do not know him, and I certainly do not trust him. He clearly does not like me. How am I to know he will not use this opportunity to gain some sort of leverage over me?"

She glances at Serid - Corliss - to see if the transition of power is complete. She is desperate for his true opinion, not just a blind support of her own decision.

<<When did I become so damned dependent on what he thinks?>> Terenia wonders to herself and Mike.

Temrash wondered if the portal would remain in place when he moved his ship. He didn't plan on sitting in space until it closed. He took the controls, and flew into the atmosphere, turning on the scanners to find Corliss' ship.

"Hmm. I found Corliss' ship, but it seems Terenia's ship has been detonated. I wonder why she'd do that."

<Could it have been Efaen? Can you find her?>

"Yes, she's by the lake. I'm landing in the scrapyard to check on Corliss."

He landed, and claxter left to go look for Efaen. Temrash walked up the ramp of Corliss' ship.

"My it's crowded in here." He said as he entered. "Corliss. I've come to make sure you're keeping an eye on Terenia." He held his hand near his dracon, just in case Corliss decided to draw his weapon. Not that there was much room to do anything with all the people inside.

<<You're not dependent on what he thinks,>> Mike snorts in reply to Terenia.  <<You just care about what he thinks.  There's a difference, you know.  I don't reckon you're dependent on much, these days, are you?>>

<<Yes, well, thank you for...redirecting things,>> Corliss says to Serid in a hushed tone, focusing his attention on the recent events between Myitt, Illim and Tora.  He peruses the older memories of Tora with unreadable emotion, blocked off from Serid.  <<Believe me, Andalite, I don't want to stick around any more than you do.>>

He blinks Serid's eyes and straightens up, clearing the Andalite's human throat.

"Sorry about that," he says, Serid's voice taking on a softer version of Mike's accent.  "I, um...it's quite distracting in here."

What did it mean?  Tora, betraying her comrade?  Corliss never would have doubted the loyalty of the Andalite girl.  And the sensation of galloping on four hooves...

He shakes his head.  "Illim and Serid are telling the truth about their arrangement with Myitt," he finally replies, turning and looking around the room, focusing on Illim and Derrel.  "If you wish to join the rebellion, Illim, you understand what you would be giving up.  Correct?"

With a glance at Terenia, he adds, "I suppose the alternative is not much better."

When Temrash enters the crowded pool room, Corliss looks over at him through Serid's eyes.

"I'm over here," he says, waving Temrash's attention away from Mike.  "Yeah, it's bloody complicated.  But you don't have to babysit her, you know.  We can handle this ourselves."

Serid watches Corliss as closely as the Yeerk allows it, hating the process of having his every secret revealed to a stranger. When Corliss tells him he doesn't want to stay any longer than necessary, he can't quite bring himself to believe him.

He is distracted, however, by the nothlitized Yeerk inhabiting Corliss's usual host. <Why is he saying these things?> he demands. <He is a fool. He does not act out of honor but fear. Does he truly expect to be granted such a gift without paying some kind of price?>

Illim's eyes narrow at the intrusion of yet another person on the small ship. Too much going on... he thinks, shifting uncomfortably.

Still, he speaks up in answer to Corliss's question, hoping there are no enemies among those present. "I understand. Serid's... quite a host, huh? But I think he has other ideas now," he says, his eyes briefly cutting toward Ossanlin. "When you get a chance, brother, if you'd let Myitt know I'm not lying--rather that I'm just seriously lucky--I'd appreciate it."

As he speaks, he searches Derrel's mind, worried by his earlier insecurities. If he does not remain a voluntary host, this whole thing could get blown out of the water. At best, he'll be arriving at the rebellion in a tupperware container.

"I'm making sure you don't do something stupid with any misplaced trust. Efaen is free, and it seems she ran over and blew up Terenia's ship. I doubt that's going to go over well with Visser Three. The young Warrior has gone looking for her, so maybe he'll find out why she did it. Are you well enough supplied with Kandrona since Terenia's likely went up in flames?"

When the ship landed Temrash went off on his own.  Taylis was reminded by Amy that she was on her own mission and she should get back to the bar.  "I hope Fiona hasn't done anything while I was gone."

Terenia immediately swivels her attention to Temrash when he enters the ship, her hands reclenching themselves into fists. She hasn't forgotten the fact that he nearly killed Efaen, regardless of intentions, and locked her up with the intent of starving her of Kandrona.

"This ship is crowded enough without you shoving your blades in here," she says coldly. "Corliss said you weren't needed. Go away."

Efaen reaches the edge of the shipyard, slowing to a walk as she sorts over what she has seen. Her initial instinct was to alert her prince, but upon further thought it may be information better kept to herself. Useful, perhaps, in the long run. She swishes her tail thoughtfully, taking note of the silence around the bar. Where is everyone? she wonders.

Temrash noticed a difference in Mike's voice. He let it go for now, though. "Just because I let Corliss take over watching Terenia, doesn't mean I wouldn't check up on the lot of you. She's manipulative, self centered, and destructive, much like a typical Imperial Yeerk. Corliss has an obvious attraction to her, which would make it easy for her to use him for some purpose. Such as getting back at Efaen for blowing up her ship. Personally I think I am needed. Maybe not wanted, but definitely needed."

Claxter made it to the lake, enjoying the run after being in the ship. <Efaen. Are you here? I wanted to ask you something.> He called.
