Terenia shakes her head, her anger simmering down only to be replaced by sadness.
<<I destroyed the data when I escaped,>> she says regretfully. <<I didn't want anyone benefitting off of my pain. They may have recreated it, but there is no way for me to know.>>
She tries for an Andalite smile, but it falls flat. In her mind she is recounting the time she spent in her human form, saying goodbye to her humanity. Even if I get another human host, she thinks, it will not be the same. It is more than losing herself, it is as though she is losing Tamora all over again.
<<I hope this makes you happy,>> Terenia says to Efaen coldly. Efaen does not answer, but it doesn't take much effort for Terenia to see that it does.
<Alright,> Terenia says openly, taking a deep breath. <Here goes nothing.> She leans her upper body forward, tilting Efaen's head so that her right ear hovers just inches above the murky pool. Weak Andalite hands cling to the lip of the tub, providing extra support, determined to hold onto her body for as long as possible.
