Tora takes a few steps before realizing that Myitt is no longer beside her. She pauses and turns to face her. "Tara was bound?" she asks, sounding concerned. "Do you mean to say you had been separated from her? What happened? And how did so much transpire in so short a time?" she wonders aloud.

Elayne crawls out from under the mess of machinery and stands, grabbing the wall as a head rush causes her vision to darken. Fresh air, she thinks, blinking to no avail. That's what I need.

Once the uncomfortable sensation passes, she slips her wrench into her tool belt and walks out of the modified Bug fighter, peering up at the dim sky.

I followed John into the bar. He sat down at the bar. I looked around the room. One of the newcomers smell... Dead! That was weird!

"Verywell. It has been a pleasure to meet you. Riksa'uk, John of Earth. May all your efforts be fruitful."

"I will see you later John," I said.

Kikulon cued his subcutaneous comm device, "Sovereign to RIMS Milo Khorvilis: Please lock on to Fenebok's signal and beam him up. And once you have, have the doctor remove his communicator. He is no longer working with us."

"Aye sir. As you say," Came the reply.

"Sir," I began, "May I...inform my family of all that has happened here today?"

"Of course, Capt –– Lieutenant Colonel. Of course." Vekk.

"Thank you sir." I left the room. I left just as Fenebok was stood up, and disappeared as the blue lights played around him in a cylindrical fashion, then disappeared when he was gone. My brother. He was gone. I would probably never see him until I retired. And that, I hoped, was long, long off.

I entered the Zetylon. We went to the bridge, and I walked into my ready room. I cued the transmitter, "Computer. Establish comm link to Reptilina."

~WORKING~ the machine said back, ~WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 30 SECONDS~.

"Acknowledged. Advise me when it's available."

~COMPLIANCE~

Vogefac waited for the computer to calibrate the subspace channel.

~CHANNEL OPEN. PLEASE SPECIFY RECEIVER~

"The Tynjed Plantation, main Quarters."

~COMPLIANCE~

"Hello, Tynjed Plantation main quarters, how may I help you." the voice of Gerevat.

"Mother. It's me, Vogefac."

Her voice automatically 'perked up', "Vogefac! What can I do for you, Captain?"

"You can start by calling me Lieutenant Colonel Vogefac. I was promoted today."

"Really? I am very proud of you my son." said Gerevat.

"Would you like to hear the bad news now?"

Gerevat hesitated, "If I must."

"Fenebok was demoted, and then removed from the Military."

Gerevat spoke after a long silence, "I see. He is on his way to Reptilina then?"

"Yes."

"Very well. It's nice to hear from you again son. Tynjed Plantation out."

After sitting, thinking for a minute, Vogefac got up, and went to the Bar. He looked around, then sat down with his friends.

She couldn't help it. No matter what she did her focus slipped. She pulled her aura back within its containment like before and sighed. So many problems. So many questions needed answers or couldn't be answered. She slammed the end of the battle staff on the ground in frustration. She had liked the fact that her father had comw to her aid. That was fine, but he hadn't stopped to think that maybe...just maybe...she could handle herself. Sure to him she would always be that little girl from so many years ago. But she had her own scars that life had dealt her. She was a fighter just like her father. Her body was well toned from practice alone. Then there was that nawing feeling with her mother. She hadn't left her chambers since they buried  Fletcher - Gods rest his soul. Sure Desmond didn't win father of the year award but....even she could see where it might upset her mother. So much happening. Now that she had time to think about it all it hit her kind of hard. She muttered a curse under her breath and gave another sigh.

The older she got the more her powers progressed. Her illusions felt real. Fire burned or at least you felt it burn but no marks would ever show. She could get into your mind and suck you up into a dark abyss and show you your worst fear. Hell! She disguised the shuttle on the rescue mission and Desmond never saw them coming! Every year was something new. She wondered what this year would bring. Soon s the thought crossed her mind, her skin tingled. She frowned and looked at her hands. It started transparent and faint but became more solid as intricate designs almost like tattoos along her arms and could feel it down her back. She shifted forms and with each form they changed but were in the same positions but different designs. "Aw hell...."

John nodded to Vogefac and looked around. There was Minotaur in here! My jaw dropped in a very un doglike way.

Myitt shrugs and keeps walking, frowning at the ground.

"That psychopath Cody, rest in peace, stunned us and dragged us aboard Sukohn's ship, where Tamora was eager to exact...hm...reveng e for the death of Zorish.  That's where we saw your ship get burned.

"So yes, I was eventually convinced to leave Tara, fully expecting to die.  But Tamora...she allowed me into her body, hoping that I would stay within her as my punishment.  Of course there was no way she could have remained within the rebellion, the girl was highly unstable...but the alternative shouldn't have been a death sentence.  I returned to Tara, of course, and sent Tamora to her sister.  I knew Tamora would die.  I allowed it to happen."

There's no actual evidence of the virus in or on his body. Weird. He's male, so definitely not a Runner...

"Okay then, 'Dark Priest'," I say, looking at the man through my goggles, "Any idea where we are? Make no mistake, I'm in no hurry to get home, I just feel better knowing where my escape routes are."

And who to keep an eye on.

"I was sent here after a session of prayer. I am unsure where we are, but it seems to be more of an asteroid than a planet. There is this bar, and also a wooded area that I appeared in. I have yet to gather more information. I am more concerned about what I might accomplish here than knowing where exactly I am." Fredrick said. He tried to get a beat on this man's aura. He was worried about something, possibly pertaining to what Fredrick was. Perhaps he was knowledgeable of Vampires, or Vampire-like creatures.

"So, tell me about yourself. I don't believe I have your name." He didn't try to use hypnosis to pull the truth out of the man, since as long as he would freely talk there wasn't much reason.

Morgan took a deep breath and nodded to himself. Over the past fifteen minutes of working he had been thinking a new mantra to himself: Silver is a capable young woman. I'm proud of her. And he was. Her strength and courage is what had kept her alive all this time and the reason she was back now.

As he workd, Morgan began to sing in a resonant voice somewhere between bass and tenor.

"Heel ya ho, boys. Let her go, boys. Sailing homeward for Mingulay. What care we how bite the minches? What care we now for wind and weather? For we know that every inch is bearing closer on Mingulay. So heel ya ho, boys. Let her go, boys. Turn her head round into the weather. Heel ya ho, boys. Let her go, boys. Sailing homeward for Mingulay."

Andromeda stood near the entrance of the ship, just out of Morgan's view and listened to her husband sing. It had been a long time since she heard that sound and it made her smile to hear it again as she leaned against the wall.

Ossanlin looks around the med-bay for a chronometer and finds none.  He then consults his internal clock and discovers he has something like a half an hour left in morph.  "I would say that it should last between an hour and an hour and a half longer.  However you were still able to move somewhat after the injection...perhaps humans or Mike in particular have a bit of resistance to the drug."  He continues in Galard.

"Well, that very well may have been, mate," Corliss says with a laugh, in English, while staring up at the ceiling, "but I reckon it's starting to take substantially more effect now than it was when I could limp us in.  It...does seem to be helping, however.  The swelling's gone.  We'll just have to see how bad the damage is when Mike's fully conscious...I have no way of telling now."

He purses his lips, hiding a grin--one of the few actions Mike's body could still respond to.  "As for myself, all that knocking about in here doesn't seem to have damaged my cognitive functions.  Who are you, again?"

Silver slumped to the ground as the markings tool place. She had no idea what they were for. It was then her acute hearing picked up a voice singing. It had been forever since she heard that song.....or his voice sing. Memories of them when she was little flooded into her mind. She managed a smile. But her pain was still there. All those years...all alone and no evidence her family lived.

Ossanlin raises an eyebrow at Corliss' comment before speaking somewhat hesitant English.  "I had thought you were fine due to responses."

"My name is... Pariah." I reply.
"I'm originally from Idaho. Trouble is, where I'm from, we barely achieved a moon landing. How am I on an asteroid? That has a bar, no less?"
