Terenia hovers close to Corliss, shooting Ossanlin occasional distrusting glances, but saying nothing.

"I don't have an answer for you." Fredrick said. "You'd have to ask someone who's been here longer than you have."

"Oh bartender, would you be so kind as to explain this place?" Fredrick asked the man who was wiping glasses. He said nothing. "Hmm. Rather unsocial for a barkeep. Most bars I go to, the bartender is one of the talkative types. Oh well. Perhaps one of the patrons will better explain this place."

He looked over to Gaz, who was still seated nearby, hoping that she might enlighten them.

Tora resumes walking beside Myitt, staring at her in surprise. Her friend's life had been in danger, and she had had no inkling. "I am grateful you survived," she responds. To the conundrum of Terenia's sister, Tora did not know what to say. The past was the past, of course, but that did not stop her from regretting things she had done and people she had betrayed.

As they round the edge of another parked ship, her own decrepit spacecraft comes into view. It is no longer actually burning, but smoke is still rising from the damaged areas.

Trey wanders amongst the ships, some looking brand new and some as though. They would disintegrate at a touch, searching for Elayne. He contemplated calling out for her, but he had the distinct sense that perhaps that was a bad idea. The bar was a violent place, and Trey was not eager to gain any more battle scars here. He contented himself to search in relative silence; the only sound was the crunch of gravel beneath his boot-clad feet.

"Only joking, mate," Corliss says, laughing weakly.  "Terenia.  I reckon we'll be all right, thanks to you blokes.  Tell me...what the bloody hell hit us?  You know, besides the chair."

---

Myitt smiles sadly.  "Yeah, I'm grateful, too."

She nods at the damaged ship, whistling appreciatively.  "Oh boy.  Where do we begin?"

Gaz thought a second before answering. "No one's really sure about this place. People tend to just stumble across it on their own and it seems to be in it's own little place because there are folk here from various 'verses."

Putting down some money, Gaz got herself another drink from the bartender.

"And don't mind the bartender," she said, "he tends not to speak."

"Very interesting place." Fredrick said. Did his God send him because it's between multiple dimensions? perhaps He wanted Fredrick to scope it out. Obviously He was not the only Dark One to know of this place. He could sense troubled people around, though there were troubled people in every habitable planet. Barring but a scarce few, such as the Pamelite Homeworld. Sickeningly happy creatures they were, amusingly killed off by Crayak's spawns.

Fredrick leaned back and closed his eyes, concentrating his energies. Yes, some people here had troubles. Artemis was going through some troubles, as well as people connected to her. Their auras mingled with hers a bit. He also picked up on another person. Such a dark, twisted, and broken aura, likely brought about by years of torment. She was outside the building, though. He would have to seek her out to get a better feel of her.

He had already gotten a decent feeding off of small bits of energy emanating from the patrons within the building, so he drank the rest of his beverage and rose from his seat. "Well, I think I will explore the area. It was nice talking to both of you." He said. He walked out the main door, and made his way to Temrash's ship.

Claxter had been keeping en eye on him, but didn't follow him outside. He was rather creepy, and untrustworthy.

Temrash went back to the ****pit. Since Kevlin wasn't trained to work medical equipment, there wasn't any reason for Temrash to leave the ship.

Vogefac noticed Bear staring at something, mouth hanging open in a very human fashion. I looked in his general direction...

There was a beast. Very tall, with the body of a human and the head of a Terran bull...it looked very much like the Minotaurs from the fraction of Earth mythology we managed to study...in fact, it looked just like it.

Since I had never seen a species in the Galaxy like this, "What is that!?" I asked.

"Sorry," Gaz said, "Universes. 'verse is how we say it where I'm from."

Gaz took a sip of her drink and took a breath. She was feeling a lot better. The distractions were helping, and that's how she liked things. Gaz liked being busy.

I watch the Dark Priest depart, turning to the barkeep, "A bottle of scotch." I say, reaching into my pocket and placing a handful of notes on the bar top. ...People from different universes... How do I even know this guy accepts U.S Dollars?

Fortunately he does. Taking the bottle as it's placed in front of me, I open the cap and take a swig.

I turn back to the woman in the bandanna, "Different universes? Like different earths? That's... not that hard for me to believe."

I try to focus on me. "So what earth are you from? Does this place mean I'm capable of traveling to other earths or other points in time?" Or even other points in time on my own earth...?

I nudged John, "What do you make of that?"

Fredrick reached the ship where he had felt the twisted aura. She was in there, but also other creatures. He wondered how he could get her outside, and alone. There was a weakened mortal there who was close to her, and he could tell their auras were entwined in some way. She had spent time with him, and was possibly staying there to console him. She may even remain there, until he got better.

Fredrick thought about a way to speed up the process. He spoke a few cryptic words, and some energy left his body to drift to the injured person. Once it got to the person, it would begin slowly repairing him. Reconstructing his body, and strengthening it. Even though he was a dark individual, he did have the ability to heal. After all, miracles were a good way to draw good attention to yourself.
