Sierra nodded in agreement.  "Alright.  Let's get walking across this Godforsaken expanse of crap."  She said, kicking a chunk of snow to emphasize her point.  "I'm regretting this already.  Oh, and if we see anyone along the way, we can see if we can glean any information from them."

[Chad32]

Chad started walking, using his abilities to cover everyone's tracks as he went. He also diverted wind to the side so they'd be just a little warmer in their coats.

Sierra shuddered.  She would never, ever get used to the cold.  She made a point to kick most of the ice chunks that crossed her path.  She wasn't sure why, but it made her feel a little better.

[Gumby]

Cody was pretty pissed off. He barely knew why he was here, well, to fight the yeerks, but lets get onto to it already! Here he was, trudging across some arctic landscape. He spoke aloud.

"I tell you, when this is over, I'm so gonna be a superhero. We all should be, all us survivors when the yeerks are defeated, we should become, the Super students."

[Chad32]

"I think I want to become so good at telekenesis, that I can mold matter itsself. Turn any matter into energy, and vice versa. That would be ultimate power. Then I'd be the new Superman."

[Faerie Larka]

"Once this is over, I want it to go back to normal.  I don't want to have to do this for the rest of my life.  I'm sorry, but that just seems as though it would suck."

[Chad32]

"You should be entitled to that. Though at the very least I'd like to stay at the school to help me maintain control over my powers. In fact, I may take up a career in the school. If only it was in America, instead of Britain."

[Faerie Larka]

Sierra scoffed jokingly.  "Americans.  What do they know?  I'd like to work on my abilities as well.  See if I can get people to do what I want by just thinking at them."  She said, only half joking.

[Gumby]

"All I'm saying, after this war, I'm gonna get lots of money, hot chicks, cool cars, and stuff liek that."

[Chad32]

"We must know prettuy much, since we've become one of the greatest nations in just a few hundred years. Though I do admit we have problems."

[Faerie Larka]

Sierra laughed at Cody.  "You have such a one track mind.  It's kind of pathetic, really.  And Chad.  Every country has some problems.  Otherwise it would be completely devoid of human life."  She sighed.  "Humans are so corrupt."

[Chad32]

"Yeah. If we could all learn to get along with everyone, then it would be a much happier and peaceful world. Or Galaxy. The Yeerks would surely be better off if they hadn't bitten the hand that fed them. Humans would be better off if they shared more, so wars wouldn't be fought over land and resources. Even if the Yeerks took over the Galaxy, they would probably just fight over control of the Homeworld. He who controls the Kandrona, controls the species. If you ever figure out how to broadcast your thoughts across the globe, you can tell everyone to cut out all the extremist bullcrap, and learn to get along."

[Faerie Larka]

Sierra laughed.  "That would certainly be something."  She picked up a chunk of ice and tossed it from one gloved hand to the other.  "The problem is, people need drama.  They thrive off of it.  For example, have you ever noticed how some of the girls at the Brighton squeal like crazy when they see a friend after the summer break?  It doesn't matter that it only has been a few months and they've seen each other in between.  They live for the drama.  Anything to make their lives more exciting."  She smiled wryly.  "Fortunately for us, we don't have to look for drama.  It finds us."

[Chad32]

"That's all true. Speaking of excitement, I think I hear heavy machinery up ahead."

Sierra's shoulders dropped.  "Fantastic."  She muttered.  "Well, let's get moving, then.  Hey, Cody, is there any way one of you could make our steps lighter by messing with the gravity or whatever?  Keep them from knowing we're coming?"
