Cody groaned.

"That's work though. I didn't sign up for this!" But, he wrapped them in a distorted gravity sphere, which silenced their approach.

Sub-Visser two
He viewed the operation quietly. Suddenly he became aware of a slight sensation as if the ground had begun to move slightly.
"<Your skill has improved much you are learning to be aware of your surroundings without effort.>"
He looked around He noticed a distrotion of movement something slight, but it caught his eye.
"You three," he pointed at his Hork-bajir guards,"Temrash, you warn the others to be on the lookout but make sure no one sounds the alarm. You two come with me. He put on his psychic helmet and equiped his dracon energy gloves." This time things would be different.

Sierra scanned the landscape.  The only good thing about something this barren and plain is that any movement is easy to see.  Well, it was also a negative.  It depended on who noticed the enemy first.  The yeerks or the humans.

[Chad32]

"So I figure we should find out who the top guy around here is, and go after him first. Maybe also find out how to disable communications to keep them from calling reinforcement."

[Faerie Larka]

Sierra nodded.  "Makes sense.  So we find anyone who is part of this operation and persuade them to tell us who is in charge."  She said, with not a little malice.

"If you wish I can scout ahead and figure out where the bomb is. I do have immense holografic capablities you know."

Sierra nodded.  "That would be helpful.  It's a shame you can't take down the people you see.  Although...."  She glanced at the professor.  "If you see anybody who looks like they know what's going on, would you mind bringing them back to us?"

No one has morphing powers. We're all psychics, fighting Yeerks in Britain. It's dying a slow death.

The professor turned his cloaking device on and leaped ahead. It didn't take him long to find the mining site. There were hork-bajir carrying up rubble from the tunnel below. This was his critical moment he needed to sneak in without being discovered.

Subvisser two

He and his two hork-bajir had reached the top of a cliff side they saw Sierria, Chad and the twins from above. The Subvisser was far enough back that both he and his hork-bajir were far out of range. Even though they all had on mental sheilding helmets the Subvisser was not going to leave anything to chance.

They got out their dracon snipers. The subvisser knew that his Hork-bajir only had one shot each then the band below would scatter.

"Lock on to the two male humans that look exactly alike, and make sure your gravity negators are on we cannot aford to miss" the subvisser knew that they were the most powerful, and the greatest threat.

Each horkbajir locked on to each of the twins. Below the twins were in a bit of an inappropraite mental conversation. The happy-go-lucky pair smiled at each other for one last time...
The dracon beams were on point. Both riped straight through the heart. Both fell simultaniously. In their last seconds of brain activity they quickly created a physical barrier of earth frozen earth and air sheilding.

"<This is it.>" thought hector
"<yep.>"
"<Well I never thought I'd see the day they'd be cry...>" he faded away
"Right behind you bro..." Ryan whispered. His last words were spoken both orally and mentally.

"Right behind you bro." was their life story. It began with it and now suddenly ended with it.

Sierra inhaled sharply.  Not quite a scream, but close.  The twins were down.  And to think, she had kissed them once.  It seemed like a lifetime ago.  "Cody.  Alter the gravity.  I don't know if it will work, but if it's strong enough, it may pull the beams away.  Chad, could you build up an ice wall around us?  Any protection would be good."  Although her voice was steady, she knew her hands were shaking.  The twins had been her friends.  Some of her only friends.  She clasped her hands behind her back to hide the movement.

[Chad32]

"Holy crap." Was all Chad could think to say. It happened so fast, and now the twins were gone. Yeah, they had been annoying, but he didn't want them to die like this. He immediately put up a wall of ice, as Sierra spoke. He expanded his power's range, but the enemy was obviously beyond it. He could tell where the shots had come from by looking at the twins.

He suddenly felt angry, and it surprised him. "Cody. Protect Sierra." He said, and used his powers to charge forward at high speed. If he was correct about the direction the shots came from, he'd be on them in seconds. He would crush them.

Sierra opened her mouth to tell Chad to stop.  Rationally, she knew it was stupid for him to go rushing in to try to fight an enemy he knew nothing about.  He didn't know what weapons they had, what protection they had.  She closed her mouth.  Right now, irrationality won.  She wanted those yeerks dead.
