Battle for Britian (new members are free to join)

(After he gets rescued, I'll have him find Chad and say he joined the peace movement and wants to defect. He'll stay on the Yeerk side, but feed info and whatnot to Chad. As for during the rescue, him and Sierra might have a brief moment where he could kill her, but then walks away. She asks why, and he says something like "I'm rocking the boat.")

"How much longer is this ride going to be?" Chad asked. "I feel uneasy."

As if on cue, something happened outside. They were under attack!

(Cue SV2 to the rescue! Or at least to the attack.)

Sierra

Sierra shot up.  "Odrett, if you know, tell us who is attacking?"  Sierra had a feeling she knew who it was, but no harm in attempting confirmation.

[Chad32]

Chad

"I would hope it is the Sub Visser, or at least a squad of his best troops." Odrett said as he began to struggle against the binds. "Your escape will not go smoothly."

"Where's the door? We have to defend the trucks!" Chad said as he turned his chair towards the door. "Stop the vehicle!"

Sierra

"Well, you aren't going anywhere if we aren't."  Sierra quickly yanked the door open, just before it stopped and almost fell out of her wheelchair.  She quickly wheeled over to each truck in an attempt to get the people inside to understand what was going on.

(EDIT:  forgot Sierra was in a wheelchair.  Whoops!)

"I'm about to go evil Professor Xavier on their butts!" Chad said and he wheeled himself out. Two Hork-Bajir started rushing the vehicle, and he shot them both forty feet away.

Sierra

A few choice swears were muttered under Sierra's breath.  She despised not having full mobility.  Thankfully, she came face to face with a Hork-Bajir, and never thought she would be happy about it.  But she was.  She leaned toward the Hork-Bajir and told him "Start attacking your own soldiers, yeerk."  And the Hork-Bajir turned around, and did.

Cody and the twins left the truck while some normal Humans stayed to guard Odrett. Suddenly, dracon blasts came from nowhere and stunned them. A hologram hid a Human Controller, and it was let down. He undid the restraints.

"Odrett, sir, I am to take you to the Sub Visser."

"Excellent. Give me your dracon beam, and some cloth."

"Yes sir."

Odrett left the truck with cloth stuffed in his ears, and a dracon beam in hand. Chaos was all around as the battle went on. Sierra began moving away, behind a truck, and he caught her there. He stood there, out of sight of everyone, with a dracon beam aimed at her from ten feet away. He couldn't hear anything but muffled sounds of battle. No words would reach Rory's ears.

"I told you that if I was freed, that it may be I who killed you Sierra." He said. There was no smug smile. No gloating in his voice. Just dead and unemotional words.

Sierra nodded.  There was nothing she could do.  She looked up at Odrett with a grin.  "It was fun while it lasted."  She said with a sigh.  So this was how she would die.

Chad

Odrett stared her down. But then he turned away. "I have made an alternate decision. I tire of being a lapdog for those who have forced me into this war. I want to find new answers. I want to rock the boat, as it were. I must make preparations. You will be seeing Rory again soon, but perhaps not me. That depends." He said, and walked away. He found the Controller who was ordered to take him back, and ordered him to allow the slave to go free.

"They will be much less likely to follow us if we let this one go."

"That is not the way we do things."

"The way you do things is listening to your superiors!"

"Y-yes sir! I'm sorry sir."

Odrett was taken, and could only hope that Rory was allowed to go. He would find out if there was trule a Yeerk Peace Movement. That was his new goal.

(Ok, now we can finish the battle or skip ahead. Depending on which Galla decides on.)

Sierra

Sierra sat in shock.  She was alive.  A yeerk had let her live.  It seemed she was right in her earlier comment on how yeerks and humans were not so very different.  This Odrett, if he survived, could prove to be a powerful ally.

(Fast foward a few weeks to Chad's and Sierra's recovery at the enclaves)

"So I hear Rory is going to be doing psych evaluations." He said to Sierra, as he had been hanging with her a lot since being freed. Thanks to the fast healing skills of a psychic doctor, they were both walking by now. "Personally I'm glad she was freed. I still don't understand what went on in that battle, though. Granted Odrett was pretty civilized when he was strapped down, but to turn on his master like that? Blows my mind."

Cody went to Sierra.

"What the hell is going on? First I'm riding in the truck, then "Im running for sweet life, with dracon blasts flying around me? What happened? And where's Chad?"
