He was probably only gone for 1, 2 "real days". Maybe less, it's not like he stopped sleep at any point. He went to critical moments, so he only had to be somewhere for a short. Way less than what would be needed for a Yeerk to strave

But above all else, he was a RAFian, and always would be.
As evidence that MM#3 didn't take three days to take place, consider this: the Animorphs themselves didn't eat anything during that time, either. And humans need to feed considerably more often than Yeerks do.
Time travel was involved. This proabley messed with what could be considered as 3 days. It's SiFi logic.
But as demonstrate in 25 and MM2, morphing does not take away the need to feed. But again, read the book. They spent a couple hours at most in each place, and only when two like 6 places. It was not a 3 day mission

He had time travel. As I said that messed with what could be considered as 3 days. This obviously wasn't his biggest worry.
