Megamorphs 3: Visser 4 And Kandrona
« on: June 19, 2015, 12:41:54 AM »
During Megamorphs 3, Visser 4 was galaventing about all over time and space with a giant Time matrix.  How did he keep himself supplied with Kandrona rays?  I don't see him being able to haul a portable Kandrona generator all over space time!

He was probably only gone for 1, 2 "real days". Maybe less, it's not like he stopped sleep at any point.

He went to critical moments, so he only had to be somewhere for a short. Way less than what would be needed for a Yeerk to strave
Something, something, oh crap I pissed everyone off again....

I would have expected him to make some provisions for feeding.  He would surely have anticipated the possibility of some difficulty delaying him in his return to the present.

He..he had a time machine. Delays should be the least concern to someone with a time machine
He could take himself to the any Yeerk pool anywhere at anytime. Even the home world before the Andalites came.

Time travel was involved. This proabley messed with what could be considered as 3 days. It's SiFi logic. ::)

As evidence that MM#3 didn't take three days to take place, consider this: the Animorphs themselves didn't eat anything during that time, either.  And humans need to feed considerably more often than Yeerks do.  :P

I figured that there was a strong chance that Visser 4's missions would take him a total of over 3 days as measured in his own personal timeline, so that he would need to feed.

The Animorphs made numerous morphs.  The morphing might have nullified the effects of hunger, just like it nullifies injuries.

Or maybe the Ellimist prevented the Animorphs from getting hungry, just like he prevented more than one of them from dying.

But as demonstrate in 25 and MM2, morphing does not take away the need to feed. But again, read the book. They spent a couple hours at most in each place, and only when two like 6 places. It was not a 3 day mission

I imagine the book (time spent in the book) spanned from around 6-10 hours.

Before Visser 4 embarked on his mission, how could he have possibly known that it would take less than 3 days?  I figure that he should have taken along a portable Kandrona generator just in case of unexpected delays, but couldn't figure out hw he would carry it.  How big is a portable Kandrona generator?

He had time travel. As I said that messed with what could be considered as 3 days. This obviously wasn't his biggest worry.

The 3 days would be in V4's personal timeline.
