As Chad said, the second floor-breacher needs to be set. I would have Aurellia do it, but Esarvit is carrying the breacher. That breacher needs to be set and activated. It will cut a hole in the ceiling and lower the metallic disk it carves out so that Esarvit and Aurellia can lift themselves into the central computer chamber. You can assume it's clear or not. It should be, given that the attack is happening at night. As I mentioned earlier, the cannon-fodder NPC's (random enemies, etc) can be played and dictated by anyone, but the quasi-NPC's are being controlled by the mods.
I'm unsure how to explain it any more clearly without muddying the waters...if there was an enemy, you'd be allowed to control his/her actions if that enemy isn't a PC, but in the case of Quasi's like Aurellia, they're being driven by mods as a way of fleshing out the cast of the RP amongst other things. So you surely can interact with Aurellia...talk to her, give her orders, etc...but you won't be controlling her directly. That task belongs to me.
Once inside the central computer chamber, Esarvit is supposed to send a communication to Ossanlin, and that frees Ossanlin and Norry up to clear the singularity chamber. At the same time, Esarvit will be jacking his ARC into the main computer to download the Yeerk prisoner data and upload the virus. You can make that process as simple or as complicated as you want, depending upon how computer-cool you want your character to look. You can make it a matter of simply plugging the jack in and giving the command, or you can have your character have to do some extremely quick hacking...it's very open to your character and your interpretation of your character's actions. Once Esarvit has downloaded the appropriate data and uploaded his virus, he's supposed to send another communication to Ossanlin and Norry, who will then disarm the main power breaker couplings from the rest of the facility. He will send a communication to Esarvit then telling him to flip the two battery-couplings off from the main computer.
At this point you should have Esarvit install the breacher, have it cut out the ceiling, have Esarvit ascend into the computer chamber, and then have him contact Ossanlin. This would all be done in one post.
I apologize if this is too restrictive, but it's meant to simulate a very surgical, high-efficiency military operation...which would be necessary in the world of Animorphs to be able to pull it off successfully. Once this mission is done, things will open up considerably. This is really just a prequel to the RP...a sort of "intro" if you will. This is not how the entire RP will be, and this isn't how I plan on running the RP. But there's a lot on the line in the story here, and any military commander would expect and require precision to the last degree under these types of circumstances...tha
t's why this part of the RP is so restrictive. The characters are following a carefully lain and critically orchestrated plan.
Once the rescue is completed, things will open up substantially if you can stick with it through this first part.
