We're still around; we lost internet connectivity for a few days there, and we're rushing to catch up to everything that's happened since the start of June. >_<
The universe is, instant by instant, re-created anew. There is, in truth, no Past, only a memory of the Past. Blink your eyes, and the world you see next did not exist when you closed them. The only appropriate state of the mind is surprise. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy. The sky you see now, you have never seen before. The perfect moment is now. Be glad of it.

Thanks! As soon as we can figure out a good place to jump back into the story, we will. Right now, the most recent dialogue didn't seem to need more continuation, so if anybody wants to randomly run into Norry, they're welcome to. She's able to be anywhere in the Dome or its exits, in continuity.

XD Damn, I need for Keshin to run into someone who knows where the food is. Is anyone in that hall other than those two and Myitt?

Illim is standing there too. Unless you go raid Myitt's room, it may be best to talk to Illim.

Ah, okay, I was gonna ask where Ossanlin was. I lost track. I need Keslin to track him down.

Cool, Jessi.

And Chad, I don't know if Claxter is just making a culturally-apt comment or not, but I just wanted to make sure you didn't think that Ossanlin was absolutely stacked.  His arms ARE muscular for an Andalite, but when compared with the arms of a human, they would probably just be described as "toned."  He's not like a body-builder or anything.  I mean, his muscles don't bulge out.  That conjures a very disturbing image in my head.  XD

Oh. I never thought they were like huge, but I imagined them being noticeably more muscular. Though we could say that an Andalite would notice the difference more than most Humans would. To Claxter he's got bulging biceps. To a Human it's less impressive.

I just wanted to make sure.  His arms would look large to other Andalites, which makes Claxter's comment somewhat appropriate, but to a human, they would just look like the arms of someone who did some minor weight-lifting here and there.  I just wanted to make sure you didn't have the image of a body-builder Ossanlin in your head.  :P

Actually the really sad thing is I've always pictured a bizarrely broad-chested Ossanlin. He looks like Alloran and Elfangor's weird blue bastard child, with Jean Luc Picard's attitude mixed in. Partially this was because the character started out as a sort of Paladin archetype in my head, but grew more nuanced as we got to know him.

But no, he doesn't have scary beefy arms. XD

Actually the comment probably doesn't fit anyway. He was talking about a tail beating an arm, and I would never think Ossanlin could wrangle Claxter's tail with his bare hands. Maybe I should take it out. It was kind of supposed to be a joke anyway.

No, you don't have to take it out Chad.  Whether Claxter would say it or not is completely up to you.  :)

And lol Kelly, Jean-Luc is totally my favorite Starfleet Captain.   :luv:  I love Patrick Stewart.

The funny thing about the "I'm going to kill her" thing is that Humans say that kind of thing a lot when they're angry. It's not always good to take those seriously, though sometimes it is. On the other hand, Andalites probably don't say that kind of thing a lot. They don't come off as the type, at least to me. If Claxter was Human, I don't think he'd take it as seriously as he is. Though he wouldn't be completely flippant about it either. He wouldn't be trying to be Efaen's bodyguard while she's talking to Terenia.

Yeah, and Terenia is definitely the sort of person who would say something like that just because she's angry. She isn't the type of person to actually kill anyone who angers her. What happened with her sister was a very special set of circumstances, but emotionally and in practicality. She's not a complete nutter. But she does get angry easily, and she does say things without thinking.
