Claxter managed to be in the right place at the right time to save some allies, and keep the tides from turning. Maybe something happened to the squad leader, and he came up with a plan that succeeded.

How close do you think Claxter and serid would be, anyway? Since they joined Ossanlin at about the same time, they should know each other pretty well. Do you think they would be friends, or just strictly professional?

If Claxter's willing to be friendly with someone labeled a disgraced traitor, who was stuck in human morph after being infested... then sure! Not sure how magnanimous Claxter is.

I forgot he was labeled a traitor. Claxter's a nice guy, though, and as long as you're not a personally detestable individual, he can overlook things. If you had the best intentions at heart, he'll try to see past the flaws. I forget Serid's backstory, but I don't think he's a personally bad guy. Maybe a refresher is in order. Of course Claxter's establishing introduction is running away from battle, and stealing a ship. A paragon of honor he is not.

Phew. So, Tara helped immensely this weekend and we finally drew out a map of the rebel base. As soon as the character mini-profiles are finished I'll go ahead and get the rebellion background info thread online. Fair warning: there is a LOT of information, and probably more to come. Treat it as a reference, especially if you plan on introducing rebel characters down the road. I'll try and get it out sometime this week.

Also, Luke, just fyi, Brian and I are going on an impromptu vacation this weekend and I may be out of pocket from Saturday through Tuesday. It just depends on the internet situation.

Also...wow...that's a lot of information.  I'm going to have to be referencing it often...all those well-developed characters, and so many of them killed in this RP...also, gotta love the random pics mixed with real RAFian pics.    Thanks you guys for taking the time to compile it all and post it.  I suppose I should work on the blue-printy stuff of some of the important parts of the Mirage... >_< 

We still need to talk logistics...it seems that all the new rebel characters would almost have had to arrive in the Rebellion at the same time, or else we run into the very same issue we're trying to resolve...pre-existing relationships.  Unless the others don't feel as strongly about natural integration as I do.  So yeah, we need to talk logistics regarding when in the timeline we're going to start the "history" thread and whether or not all the new rebels will be arriving at the same time.  If not, then we need to decide when each new player character arrived in the past.  Have a fun weekend though...alas...Dis ney...alas...
