Dalik's suspicious gaze doesn't leave Ossanlin or Myitt, even as she steps back to the bar and slides onto the stool. Evidently, her earlier thoughts about leaving have fled with the entrance of the Andalite. Now she watches him intently, and you can practically see the gears turning over in her head as she contemplates the situation.
For William's part, he seems to be more at ease with two beers in him. Despite the absurdity of the patrons, he settles more comfortably on the bar stool. "Hey, Blue," he says, speaking to Ossanlin with a ****y smirk. "She's telling the truth, you know. She's over her head with grief and hasn't thought about you since...well, probably since she saw you last, though I can't tell, exactly." He frowns a bit, realizing for the first time that his usual abilities seem a bit dampened. "Strange," he murmurs. Glancing at Jeffrey, he barks, "Tell me a lie."
