~Rathien~
Rathien shrugs, chuckling a bit. "If you feel that 'worth' is necessary in the Dream...and if you think you can have any sort of lasting effect on it, then more power to you. As for myself, I don't think you get to keep your 'worth' when you Waken. Your part in the Dream will have finished as it was meant to, and the Dream will sweep on without you, carried aloft by other minds and other thoughts. If you define your own value by what others remember of you in the Dream..." He shrugs again, not voicing how idiotic he believes that mode of thought is. Miruvin always seems to make him poetic after awhile...usually he doesn't bother with all the artistic speech.
"I know my own worth, and I do not require others to tell me my value, nor do I require their memories to feel that my role is more important or greater than it is or ever was meant to be. I know my role, and I perform it very well. I pity you if you must obtain your self-worth from the minds and memories of others. But you are who you are, I suppose. Such a shame to give others so much power over you." Rathien drains the glass and sets it on the table, the pleasant sensation of warmth spreading through his body.
