Zorish's head swivels around, looking for an answer, but no one seems to be paying him any mind. Dapsen human female form. No one takes these bodies seriously. Keeping one hand firmly on his holster, Zorish approaches the bar.

"You, bartender," he snaps. "Have you heard of a Myitt One-Nine-Five? Where can I locate him?" When the bartender offers no response, Tamora's lip curls in frustration and he turns, surveying the crowd. A number of the aliens in the bar are unfamiliar to him, and therefore unlikely to be Yeerk or aware of Yeerks. His gaze settles on one of the groups of mostly human-looking patrons. One of them, a female, is looking back. Zorish smiles.

"You," he snaps at the human woman. He saunters up to Elayne, looking her up and down quickly, taking in her disheveled appearance. "Do you know Myitt One-Nine-Five?"

A thought-speak groan escapes Efaen and she shifts slightly in Claxter's grasp, trying to pull herself into consciousness.

Claxter noticed Efaen trying to wake up. <Come on Efaen. Wake up. Don't let some little stun shot keep you down for long.> He got her into a more upright position in case she did wake up.

The sudden influx of people pulled Ewa from her thoughts... mostly.  Adam was still at the bar, though he looked somewhat cleaner.  Everyone else was gravitating toward a table and the atmosphere almost hummed with the jumbled, confused, and disparate expectations.  Ewa knew plot potential when she saw it.

She moved in for a closer look, angling around the table to get a good look at the blond woman drawing attention to herself.  Ewa's eyes flickered over the other faces as well.  Oftentimes the loudest people weren't the ones you most needed to watch.

Salem came over towards the group, and introduced, himself. Van flashed a grin, "Van Aldbaran," he said pleasantly. The pirate then made a motion, and winked at Mar,  "Buuut, I'm kinda on the busy right now, chaa."

Mar stared at Van, and muttered, "Of the Hegemony?"

Van blinked in surprise, at the statement, and ignored Mar's prattling thereafter. This was a statement that bothered him.

"Nichaa, ars Alvo Regares-de nani sichaa? How could this..." Van assumed a straight face, and frowned. ...The Hegemony? How does he know them?! This can't be right.

He glanced off, distracted, until he noticed someone by the wall that had been repaired earlier. It was Ewa, and Van needed something to do to get his mind off this... disturbance.

"Anh, Ambassador, is it just me, or am I just really unlucky today? He didn't mention, 'the Hegemony' on the casual, right?"

Van knew well in his heart that he was wrong: Mar did say it. Whether Mar knew what it meant, however, never occurred to the pirate at all.

Salem tipped his hat to Ogreon when he introduced himself, and nodded at Van. If he found anything unusual about either of them, it didn't show. Both Elayne and Mar seemed less than thrilled by his presence. He'd have to speak to them, later, just to see that disapproving look again. For some reason, coming from either one, he found it funny- though for a different reason with Mar than with Elayne.

In any case, it did seem that this group was busy, caught up in some sort of conversation. As he wasn't really interested in what he'd heard of their conversation, he figured he'd leave them to their own devices.

"I'm a bit of a merchant," he said quietly to Ogreon and Van. "If either of you get a moment, maybe I can show you my wares. I'll let you carry on with whatever you were doing for now," he said with a wave at Elayne and Mar.

He looked around and noticed Morgan and Gaz entering the bar. He smiled. He could always go over and finally introduce himself to them. He hadn't seen Morgan around for a while. Even though he knew that Morgan's minotaur-like appearance wasn't natural, he still wanted to speak with him about it.

And there was the man he'd seen earlier talking to the woman who'd had her head blown off. He'd come in and immediately started drinking again. Not the most social of individuals, Salem thought. Either he just doesn't like people, or there's more to him than meets the eye. Might want to talk to him as well.

And the woman near the wall... Salem hadn't really looked at her, but there was something distinctly off about her, physically. She looked almost entirely human... but not quite. What was it... her eyes? And the way in which she was carefully observing the current customers of the bar... Salem caught her eye and smirked. He'd have to keep an eye on this one.

When Zorish came over and addressed Elayne, Salem leaned against the table and looked towards the speaker. When he saw what appeared to be Terenia's body, he grinned.

"Imperial uniform. Very classy. Good look for you." He smirked and crossed his arms, "Myitt left. So who are you this time?"

Zorish gives Salem a sharp look when he is addressed by the unfamiliar human.

"Myitt left?" He repeats, eyebrows furrowing in frustration. "How long ago? Does anyone have a means of contacting him?" He looks around at the faces surrounding them for an answer. It is only then that Salem's question resonates in his head.

"What do you mean, who am I this time?" he asks, glaring at Salem suspiciously. "As opposed to what other time? I have never seen you before in my life.

<Zorish, if Myitt is gone maybe we should leave,> Tamora says nervously. <I don't like this place. It seems...dangerous.>

<Quiet, human,> Zorish says impatiently.

Ossanlin refuses to look back...he misses his stalk eyes whenever he's in any other morph.  In trying to prove his point to Corliss, he misses the figure of Tamora completely.  <Well I suppose that shooting someone out of anger or annoyance is usually the best course of action.>

Ossanlin grunts as he continues behind Claxter.  <Temrash is...an unknown, Warrior.  He seems trustworthy, but I frankly know almost nothing about him.  I would not feel comfortable assigning Efaen to him, knowing so little about him.  And now with Corliss' betrayal I do not feel the rebellion would be a suitable place for her either.  It is a difficult situation.  Really it is a moot point...the Homeworld Command already know of Efaen's recovery.  Without Reven's complete cooperation I would not be able to assign her with the rebellion.  If Efaen joins the rebels now, it will be an act of military desertion.>

He watches Efaen closely...it would certainly be advantageous if she regained consciousness before they reach the Mirage.  <Efaen, are you conscious?>

Illim sighs, stuffing his hands into his pockets, catching a glance of a blond woman walking into the Bar. He shakes his head, confused by the whole mess, and frustrated by his own confusion. It is not something he is accustomed to.

Spinning on his heel, he turns to follow Corliss. <<Yeah, sounds like that's the plan,>> he tells Derrell. <<Anything else you need from here before we go?>>

The nervous chatter between Mar, Van, and Ogreon is something that can hold Elayne's attention for so long, especially when an agitated woman who at least appears to be Terenia is demanding to know the whereabouts of her friend. She turns her head from Mar, though she remains close enough to continue supporting him should he need the help, and tells the woman in the uniform, "This place is strange: timelines cross, disparate universes come together. You could be any iteration of... Tamora, I suppose? The Tamora I met is dead, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything to the Tamora of another universe."

<<Nothing really, I don't think. I doubt we have time to order a burger, so I'll just hope there are snacks for this flight.>> Derrel said.

After a few moments, claxter began movng Efaen again. He couldn't help but feel good about her not going off to work for Yeerks, though she wouldn't be happy about the situation.

Carris glances at the group of people in the bar. He can't really hear anything from his position, only recognizes a few of them as people Adam has talked to.

He picks up his glass, seriously considering just sitting there and getting as drunk as possible. He is in a bar after all. What else did one do in a bar?

<Talk to people?> Adam offer.

Carris grunts and reaches over to medkit. He opens it, fishes around inside for a moment, then pulls out another vial, this one with bright purple liquid. "Painkiller. And you don't drink it straight." He puts it back, then takes a sip of his beer.

(In case there's anyone new: Gaz is a normal human woman, mid twenties who's dressed pirate-ish. Morgan is a 7 foot tall minotaur. Dark past naturally. Both are pirates.)

Morgan glanced around the bar as he had his drink.

"We've been in and out of the bar so much lately," he commented. "I hardly see anyone I recognize. This place used to almost feel like a second home. Funny how things can change in a short period of time."

"You're worried about Silver," Gaz commented.

"Of course I am!" Morgan replied. "I haven't had a chance to explain to her what's going on or even to tell her when I had to step out. I'm just worried she'll think..."

"Don't worry about that," Gaz interrupted. "I'm sure you're worried about nothing."

Efaen groans again, shifting in Claxter's grip. She is sore all over, but her consciousness is certainly returning. Corliss must not have hit her with a very strong stun.

<I am...conscious...> she mumbles, sounding slightly disoriented. She cracks open a stalk eye, looking around to get some understanding of her position. When it falls on Corliss her voice takes on an indignant tone that overpowers its weakness. <You shot me, Yeerk,> she accuses, kicking her legs feebly as she tries to get some footing. It is then that she realizes she is being carried by...some unknown alien.

<<I certainly hope that is you, Claxter,>> Efaen says to the strange alien holding her. <<And you can release me. I am capable of walking. I think.>>

Zorish raises his eyebrows at Elayne's babbling. His gaze flits between her and Salem, two people who seem to know him, or at least his host, despite never encountering this planetoid before.

<Did you hear what she said!> Tamora cries in alarm. <She said I was dead!>

<Of course I heard,> Zorish snaps. <I am not deaf, though your incessant pestering seems intent on forcing me to lose focus. Isn't this the reason we came here? Now be quiet.>

"You say that Tamora is dead," Zorish says to Elayne, glancing back towards Salem for confirmation. He nods, tightening his lips into a straight line. "Clearly that is a farce, as Tamora is standing right here. However, such accusations happen to be the purpose of my presence here. I received a rather disturbing communication, intercepted by one of my officers. It was meant for Visser Three, but pertained directly to myself. According to the Andalite filth that delivered the message, Tamora was murdered only after I agreed to abandon her and was destroyed myself. An unlikely sequence of events, in any universe."

Zorish leans back on his heels, searching Elayne and Salem's face for a reaction, an indication of familiarity, anything to help him understand the strange message that had sent him halfway across the galaxy. "You can see how I would be perturbed by such a message. Clearly I am alive, as is my host. I wish to speak to those who are responsible for my supposed execution." His confused, pensive look tightens, eyes narrowing slightly. "Now, how can I get in contact with Myitt One-Nine-Five? I believe he has the information I am looking for."

Van chuckled uncomfortably in response to Ogreon's question, "The significance? Anh, that is, chaa, a bit of a difficult question to answer, chaa. Mm! But our Federation -rather, Oligarchy- is nothing compared to them, no. You see, I don't know them personally, but let's say other people I know don't like them."

And before Ogreon could press him for more information, the pirate quickly added, "And those 'other people' I am talking of, I don't talk to them anymore. Just about them. Sometimes. No big-deal, haha! They are, ah, Zhenzi Vangul-chay kari to me!"

Van grinned as an odd rush of satisfaction blazed through his being. Though he wouldn't explain the insult to Ogreon, in referring to his family as "Zhenzi Vangul-chay kari", he was basically calling them "moronic hollow-headed people". There were probably plenty of other things he could have called them, but some insults were so scathing, he was loath to repeat them in front of Mar.

To refer to his estranged relatives back home in such a way was justified, in Van's eyes. And in a way, he was being nice: "moron" barely illustrated the depth of how much Van hated his father.

All Van hoped was that Mar wouldn't suddenly be "helpful" and explain to Ogreon what he had just said. Problem was, Mar didn't quite sound like Mar. To Van, he sounded... drunk. Something was seriously wrong with the way the Oligarch spoke, but he needed to hear Mar's voice some more to really get a better analysis.

Shoot. Now what?! I'm just going to stand here, and wait for this guy to royally screw me over by explaining what I said? Ugh, I guess so. Just open your mouth, Mar-zhen!

<<Yes, it is me.>> Claxter said, releasing Efaen. He kept a hand on her just to make sure she didn't fall over, but otherwise she was holding herself up. <<Corliss has done nothing but lie ever since our Prince caught him. Saying he was just taking you in for interrogation, and then saying you changed your mind about going completely instead of just wanting to wait. His dishonesty is unsurprising.>>
