~Ossanlin~
Ossanlin keeps his arms crossed in front of his chest, but smiles a bit at the viewscreen. The whole situation was...tense, there was no need to be unfriendly to Reven, they'd worked together before and the last thing he wants is bad blood with the Rebel leader. <Should the terms be met to my satisfaction, I see no reason why Efaen cannot depart as soon as we finish Terenia's procedure...I do need her presence for that. Of course Terenia must also be present, so Efaen would not be a source of delay. At any rate, these terms will make her placement amongst you all acceptable with my superiors, and will supply me with some piece of mind as well.>
He takes a breath and steps forward a bit. <Efaen did convey the gist of the terms that must be met, but I shall clarify. First and foremost, she will remain an active member of the Andalite military. She will remain ultimately under my command as an agent dispatched to your service. Of course I will only issue a command if I deem it to be absolutely necessary, leaving discretion to you and your lieutenants. This means, however, that I will have the ability to withdraw Efaen at any time for any reason.> He pauses a moment to let the information sink in, and then continues. <Secondly, Efaen must be allowed to contact me at any time without hindrance and vice versa, except during extreme circumstances, such as in te event that she is currently deployed on a sensitive mission. She will be required...> Ossanlin glances meaningfully at Efaen with his main eyes before returning them to Reven. <...to contact me at an interval no less than two standard weeks after our most recent live transmission...reco rdings will not count. If a mission will demand communications silence from her for longer than two standard weeks, I will need to be informed of the complete details of said mission AND give my approval before she can be deployed on said mission. Those are the terms of her sanctioned deployment. You must understand, though Efaen will be working for you and essentially under your command, she will still be my responsiblity.>
He waits a few seconds before sending another private speech to Reven. <<I apologize and in no way distrust you old friend, but I am well aware of the types of missions you run. Efaen cannot fall into Imperial hands, a second abomination would be a huge blow to morale. I will be responsible for her well-being whether she likes it or not...the terms protect not only Efaen, but yourselves and myself as well. If something does happen to her while in your service, I find it unlikely that even my friend in the Electorate will be able to convince the rest to allow any more joint operations involving the rebellion but the terms should at least be enough to stave off a "rescue-attempt". Be that as it may, I do not wish to lose the ability to work with you.>>
Ossanlin falls completely 'silent' and waits to hear Reven's ultimate decision.
