I raised both eyebrows, "If I knew her phone number I could look it up...but that's exactly what we're looking fr now..."

I searched, "Jessi, [WHATEVER SCHOOL WE GO TO]."

I pressed enter. After a few seconds, the search popped up with a few facebook pages.

"Hmm...", I thought. I clicked the first one, and looked at the profile pic. Not her...next? Not her...next? DEFINITELY not her...next? Ummm...

"That's her right?", I pointed to the profile pic.

I nodded, and clickd the link. There was a small list of information, most of it was blocked for friends. But her cell number was available.

"Strange...", I thought out loud, "It's like it was put there for us."

I immediately regretted those words. They just sounded...well, plain stupid.

I cleared my throat and got out my iPod to type out the number.

Once finished, I turned to James, handing him my iPod, "Ok. Go ahead and call he."

     I took Caleb's iPod and punched Jessi's number onto the keypad of my iPhone.

     I waited for the ring.

     One ring...

     Two...

     Three...four...five--six...

     I shook my head and turned off the phone. "Either busy, or she's not answering."

     Suddenly, my dog waltzed into the room. He wasn't very big--bigger than a Chiuahaha, obviously, but not as big as a retriever. But he had a lot of energy. And right now, he was jumping around the room, shaking his tail like a bunch of fleas had set up camp.

     "Sorry," I said to the guys, grabbing for my dog before he could jump on somebody.

I was waiting for James to call Jessi, when Chris asked about morphing...my eyes went wide...

"Um...I hadn't tried no...but...", I desperately didn't want to tell them. But I desperately wanted to tell them!

"Uh...nevermind...", I turned to the computer again, seeing if he had any games...

I wanted someone else to know that I might have the DNA of an alien from another world in me. But if they knew, they'd tell me to...become it...what if morphing hurt? What if I did it wrong and...lost my form? Or even died! My heart beat quickened as I expected someone to press the issue...
