The Andalite died...Like a hero he sacraficed himself. I had only known him for less than half an hour, but he left a huge impact on my life. He wouldn't let the Yeerks take him. He wouldn't become a host. So he took his life.
Now the Yeerks were getting pretty upset.
There were about a dozen of them, or more. Only three of them were humans--not including the one who had spoken to the Andalite. There were seven other creatures, too. These creatures were seven feet tall and covered in blades! They had feet like talons, and a head that gave me the impression of a fat green--almost black-- python.
Beside the walking metal dinosaurs was a group of bloated, seven foot tall worms, with legs like pins. They were about as thick as a redwood tree, and held the upper third of their bodies errect. Jelly eyes that reminded me of something I ate at a family reunion once. But most shocking of all were the rows and rows of sharp, triagular teeth.
I thought that we'd be safe behind the wall. I thought that the Yeerks would have just figured the Andalite died alone, and that the construction site was empty.
Then someone went screaming into the dark.
Suddenly, about a dozen pairs of monstrous eyeballs that looked like nothing I had ever seen on earth looked over the area we had all been hiding behind.
"Yea...I think I'll catch you folks later." I said to the others. "I don't feel like...you know, getting killed tonight."
So I ran after the person
