     (Just wait for Chris or someone else to reply to what was previously said. Even after you land, you can't really start talking until Shaun, Jessi and Caleb are on. We need their reactions, too.)

"I've never seen anything like it, but my guess is yes. But it hasn't yet so we may be ok. Maybe they come in peace?" I tried to keep a straight face but I was shaking.

     I can't speak for the others, but I could tell you that I was pretty scared. With every breath, every minute that passed us by, the space ship came closer and closer to touching ground. At the moment, it was just Chris and I hiding behind that low, concrete wall. I was just about to ask him if he thought our actions would be considered cowardly, but I stopped. The ship had finally landed.

     Any minute now the pilot would exit the ship.

     Who knows what would happen next?

((Woah guys, slow it down a bit please! I'm a busy kid. ))

I got snagged...as I expected...but I got away. That, it turns out, is what held me in the area long enough.

It took me a second to fight free. in the end I simply slipped out of my red hoodie and smacked the guy in the nose. I walked off in the dark construction site with my dark owl shirt and dark jeans.

Then I heard voices...it was those guys from the mall! Had they been following me?

Now, why would they follow you?, I asked myself. I was right. I wasn't that special...

I hid behind a building, trying to only let my dark clothes show and not my white face. I heard them talking about something in the sky. I looked up at where they were looking.

"That's not any human ship...", I said, noting that the formation lights were all light blue...

The alien ship crashed, with all the other surrounding it. I walked over from the other side, trying to hide. More from the guys than from the alien that might have come out of the ship. But trying to hide nevertheless.

I felt for my iPod...

Great...the day I met our interstellar neighbors is the day I left my camera home...

     (I noticed that we're a clumsy bunch. You, Josh and Jessi have all bumped into someone or something )

     The ship was about fifty feet away from us. Of course, being math-impaired, I couldn't tell exactly how far away it was. And, despite how terrified I was, I wasn't going to run away. For one thing, I didn't want people to think I was a coward. Also, I was not about to walk away from the chance to make contact with aliens.

     But, assuming that this alien was one of the "good guys", and that we actually walked away from this without any harm done to us, who would believe our story.

     I dug into my pocket--keeping one hand on the wall for ballance-- and pulled out my iPhone. I positioned the camera in a way that would guaruntee a full shot of the ship.

I noticed James pulling out his phone. I didn't have one but now I wished I did. There was something that drew me to the ship.

     "You've got to be kidding me!" I whispered.

     I started to delete photos--old pictures I took over the holidays and such.

One of the kids next to me pulled out his phone. I grumbled internally about my lame-o flip phone. He was gonna take a picture - who could blame him - but he apparently didn't stop to think about the little bit of light that the screen was reflecting back on his face. "Shut that off! Do you want a spotlight on your face?!"

I came to the realization that I was apparently surrounded by idiots. We were all going to die.

     The kid named Josh yelled at me. Something about me being stupid and getting us killed.

     He was a smart guy, like I said. And I didn't want to be responsible for getting us killed.

     But, just because it was too risky to take a picture, it didn't mean I couldn't still use the phone.

     I slid my finger across the touch screen and hit the irecord app on my phone. The red light went off.
