Going back to old school with the haunted devices and live predators in the kitchen. I guess I'll think of something creative to happen to Ike. I'm just not sure what yet.

I assume that for everyone except Ike possibly, Gallant's fluent French will be translated as Yeerkish. Ike might initially hear it as French, but his "friend from the other side" will eventually convert it to English. As for why he's speaking French, that's because he's presumed to be from a point in time when French would've been the lingua franca. Now there are more than a few extra European countries on Gallant's Earth, but it'd be amusing if that fact was still true.

Name: Connor NightHawk
Age:24
Race: Human with morph abilities
Description: Connor is 6'0 and about 210 lbs. He has dark brown hair with streaks of Blond from being out in the sun a lot, that he usually keeps tied back with a piece of leather. His eyes are grey and seem to see things about people or at the very least make them think he can. He wears a black leather vest with a hood, usually with no shirt under it. For pants he wears a pair of black cargo pants that he usually wears tucked into a pair of steel toed combat boots. He has tanned skin and defined muscles from all his time outside(see bio). His most distinguishing marks are his two full sleeves of tattoos, the one on his right arm starts at the shoulder with a few significant military pieces that he got when he served in the Navy, and it begins again his shoulder with conjis(sp) stating the different types of martial arts he studied and what degree he is now.His left arm is a dark depiction of good vs evil that extends from his shoulder to his wrist. He doesn't know why but they return when he demorphs.

Bio: Connor grew up in rural Wisconsin, on a farm with only his father and uncle as his mother had died giving birth to him. He spent his youth and teens until he was 18 working the farm while going to school, the work helped greatly improve his muscles and body tone. At the age of 18 he followed in his father and uncles foot steps and joined the military, the navy to be exact. He worked in intelligence gathering. After 5 years he left to pursue his dream of working with federal law enforcement. It was at this time that me me an Andalite who told him about the war, and gave him the morphing ability. From then out his life changed as it had when he was in the military, the only problem was this time he really didn't have a lot of people that had his back, for all he knew any at all. It took him 6 months just to begging to start this guerrilla war. He didn't know how much of a dent he put into the Yeerks but he hoped it was enough.

This RP doesn't really require anyone to go over a bio. This looks good enough, though. Just remember it's more about character development than how well you do in a fight.

Just a reminder, that while we don't have many rules in the GESB, there are a few posted on the first page of this thread. Specifically:

-We really, REALLY appreciate decent grammar, spelling, and punctuation along with respectable post length...this includes complete thoughts and sentences.  It's not that hard, people!  Let us know in here if you have any questions, we have an English teacher and four or five other fairly loopy grammar nuts around here.
-Avoid one-liners--try to make your posts as meaty as you can without them becoming unwieldy.

Oddly, it occurs to me that we don't have an outright religious character anywhere in the Bar. The closest two we have are Ike and...Mar....both of which have pretty substantial things completely wrong with that statement.

Probably sources from the either agnostic or purely spiritual or "don't care" or whatever the hell I'm supposed to be nature of most of the Roleplayers in the Bar. Terenia and I tried it at one point, but it seems to be pretty tricky. I could do it plausibly as I know several perfectly normal religious people, but it might make me squeamish.

Anyway, getting very off-topic now. Let's return the OOC thread to RE! <3
