Thinking about a new character to come to the bar, and how I can tie it to the Ani-verse. Right now I'm watching Planet of the Apes, the tv show, where the people can still talk.

*A small handful of yeerks/controllers have found their way to the future. Much like the way a handful of human astronauts have in the past. Dr. Zaius, while uncertain at first, comes to appreciate the way the Yeerks can keep humans under control. For some reason though, apes are not compatible hosts. Not that Zaius would allow apes to be controlled.

Onysa is a young adult chimpanzee physician who has found her way to the bar.

Hey Chad is your charie Jocun still active in the Bar? I'm kinda stalled out on my intro for my new charie so I figured I'd bring back Larry for a little bit to interact with Jocun and to remind myself how the Bar functions as well.

I still take a glance at the bar from time to time. I remember Larry, and it would be cool to see him again. He was the guy Jocun helped save, right?

Correct. Since Sanctuary Dimension fizzled out without finishing and the rest of that group is long gone I figured he could come back and present Jocun with his reward for saving Sanctuary from total destruction by Ba'al. If you ever played Diablo 2 and its expansion you know what I mean.

I haven't played the game. I think you said Larry was being controlled, and in my mind, the other two characters tried to bring Larry back to his senses while Jocun used his morph to engage Ba'al. Unfortunately the demon was just toyaing with him, and Jocun would be dead three or more times over if he hadn't been able to demorph. Larry finally came around and saved them all. How is that?

*Gives Chad a very weird look* How is it you were able to read my mind and know how the battle took place?

I remember you saying that Larry would be mind controlled. Given that the girls knew you better, and Jocun's morph can get out of control in battle, that seemed like the logical plan. Now obviously your big bad isn't going to be beaten by Jocun, so he'd either toy with Jocun or go straight into using him as a throw toy.

That scenario just seemed like a good idea of what would happen.

OK well since you have not played the game you should know a few things. Ba'al has several powers that make him extremely hard to beat. He has control over fire and ice and has the ability to teleport himself as well as able to make tentacles sprout from the ground and attack you, but one of his most annoying abilities is to create a clone of himself that can teleport and melee attack, but thankfully not use the fire and ice powers. Therefore I had it planned that you take on the main Ba'al and Twilight would hold off the clone. After Sami was able to pierce through the mind control she and I would help Twilight destroy the clone and then we all take care of Ba'al. After Ba'al is destroyed an Archangel named Tyrael warns us that the Worldstone must be destroyed and opens a portal to take you 3 back to the bar and myself to a safe place in Sanctuary.

Now I am showing up to give you your reward and to mark you which involves me carving a scar into your forehead with a claw from Ba'al. This scar is permanent and signifies you as a Hero in Sanctuary. Got all that?

Ok, I got it. I think I remember you mentioning the mark before.
