It looks like you've picked up on our preferred methods rather quickly, but if you haven't already read it, I recommend looking over the first post in this OOC thread as it describes our rules and general guidelines rather succinctly. You can also address any questions you have to any of the thread mods, those include myself, Myitt, Terenia, Shenmue, and Kitsunemarie. in all honesty, it has been quite awhile since Shen or Marie have posted and Myitt is especially busy with RL happenings, so your best bet for answers would probably be either Terenia or myself. You can also ask the other regulars like Chad, Revan, or Lumy, or if you don't mind asking your question publicly, you can simply post it to this OOC thread and someone will answer. Otherwise, we simply ask that you try to obey our guidelines and have fun!
Okay, now that the ambassadorial stuff is out of the way, I'll give you a quick description of my characters...
Ossanlin is, as you have correctly guessed, an andalite. He's larger in body and frame than an average andalite, with his upper body as toned and strong as a fit human, and his lower body more closely matching the size of a quarter-horse than a deer. His fur is a deep, rich blue, his eyes bright sky-blue. His tail and blade are in proportion to his body...somewhat larger than a typical male andalite's. He wears a black leather-like cross-strap utility harness on his upper body that is connected to the belt around his humanoid midsection. The harness and belt sport pouches and loops, many empty, others occupied by random pieces of field equipment including an ARC (Apix Realtime Computer), a secondary Z-Space transponder unit, emergency nutrients, a first-response medkit, and two leather-like holsters occupied by twin modified handheld Shredders. The belt also supports twin katana, held blade-up back along the horse-like portion of his body to provide as little interference to maneuvering as possible. A small, black, wire-like protrusion originates above his right ear and curves around the side of his head, ending in a widened, flat tip just to the right of his right primary eye. It's a piece of his ARC that can project a hologram in front of his right eye that can display just about anything, including but not limited to a realtime super-imposed HUD.
That pretty much sums up his physical description. Other facets of him...such as his personality, rank, standing, or 'surprises' you'll have to either glean from in character interactions (as would actually be the case in such a situation), or sort back through literally thousands of posts (which I don't recommend).
Rathien is not a cannon species...he's a race I've invented, known as "Ildari". The Ildari resemble Tolkien elves aesthetically, but are generally more feral. Rathien himself is not a true representative of his species due to certain internal physiological anomalies, but he looks the same. He stands around 6'6" tall with shoulder-blade length light-blue (almost white) hair streaked lightly with reflective silver. He has aqua-blue eyes that are laced with threads of silver, and they glow faintly in darkness...his ears come to a point near the top of his head, and all four of his canine teeth are a good inch long and sharp to boot, though they're hidden while his mouth is closed. He's wearing a black tunic that holds very light plates of creme-colored flexible armor around his body in formations. A jet-black cape hangs from beneath his shoulder-plates (which extend outward from his shoulders some) which is embroidered with thread-of-silver scrollwork along the edges and a thread-of-silver clan symbol picked out right beneath his shoulder-blades. Cris-crossing his back beneath the cape are twin sinuously-curved fighting-blades that are really akin to short-swords in dimension with the gracefully-curved handles sticking out above each of his shoulders. His shin-high black boots look as though they are leather, but are actually made of a material much more supple and more-protective than leather, with more flex-armor plates across the tops and on the shins. He wears a black and silver braided-leather belt at his waist which supports a single holster as well as a few pouches which contain a medkit, rations, and his liberated ARC. The holster contains an innocuous-looking weapon that resembles a standard blaster pistol, but is actually much more than it seems. The same wire-like, black protrusion curves around the right-side of his head, and it has the same function as the one Ossanlin wears. Rathien is currently seated in a booth away from the bar, across the table from Salem, one of Lumy's characters.
