Yeah, I'm checked out too. All of my characters are out of the way, and I'm going to make a quick post for Zorish/Tamora leaving, and leave it at that.

I was thinking about bringing Efaen back in at some point, but I'm going to wait for things to take a turn away from battle and...stuff. There's too much going on right now that is non-Animorphs for me to be interested.

Aw c'mon, it's not just because of the battle. The battle's far away now. Besides, you guys were in an entire ship to ship fight when I first joined in. It's not like you're allergic to them. Hell, when that Rot Daemon was being slain in the backyard, your characters were still there conversing inside the bar. There are plenty of characters not fighting inside that can hold a conversation. It's understandable that your characters want to leave, it's the way they feel; but you guys have tons of characters you can still play. It's not just the far away battle keeping you from us.

True, but you can't place your reasoning on this one battle. The posts suggested that this last battle is the very reason why you're taking a break. Not the trend in fighting; but this one battle. I think Luke would feel better knowing that the fight he's in is not the single motivation that pushed you away.

I agree, the stand-off really slowed down the thread, but we've more or less moved on since then. We'll certainly miss you guys and look forward to your return. :thumbsup:

Honestly, the turn off for me right now is the plethora of characters from other verses I'm less familiar with. I dont mind a sprinkling, but many of my characters have no ic reason to interact with charas from other universes. I'll be back, dont worry. Just taking a break.

Luke, Rachel, I'm so sorry for my super-slow posting here. It's been a heck of a week. I'm too out of it to post now, but I'll definitely get one up in the morning.

I could always start pushing towards Salem's big mission, and/or bring in my Yeerk character that I've had on the back-burner for a while. Or flesh out the new idea for a character that I've just had that would be absolutely awesome and hit hard right at the heart of the series.

The bar doesn't do well if so many regulars leave. Kelly's been MIA for a while. Chad, Marie, Jessi and Tara all seem to be more-or-less losing interest (or time, whichever; I get the feeling a lot of this is just life getting in the way). We're running on fumes at the moment. Heck, even I am not able to post consistently these days.

I am more than open to suggestions for ways to re-energize the bar. It's a character-driven RP without most of its characters at the moment.

I didn't realize there would be a mass exodus at the time I left. I'm just getting bored, more than getting too busy. Even if Parker is interacting with Zoshonel, I just don't feel up to RPing.

I feel kinda bad cuz my characters is one of the non-ani verse characters mentioned.

I had been toying with starting a desperate RP for all the nons, but I'm not sure if if would work out.
