*patpat* That's why I save most of my vices for fictional characters. They do most of my drinking. :P And... for some reason a lot of them smoke? I... don't know why.

Efaen mentioning how Yeerk spies must avoid memory dumps somehow has me thinking of how Temrash's spies might avoid it. Of course some Vissers work for him, so dumps can be fabricated in those cases. However I'm not sure about the spies working under Vissers who don't work for him. Until I think of a good reason, I guess I'd have Temrash say he's not at liberty to talk, if he's ever asked that.

Rebel spies also face the inevitability of a memory dump--unless they are in higher positions, which rarely happens. 

In order to combat that I usually try to think about installing a rebel or a bribed sympathetic Imperial to oversee the memory dump process on that particular ship before even thinking about sending any other spies.  And really, in the entire population of a big ship, the rebellion would only send perhaps one person.  There aren't many rebels who are still fully integrated within the Empire--which is another reason why losing Hadrin/Justin's position was such a hit.
