Also, yes, I know I said I was content to be patient, but apparently I lied.  So I'm introducing a second character!  This one should probably seem familiar to most of you.

So, I've still been reading the GESB archives on my phone, and there was a post about a Yeerkish outpost somewhere in the galaxy whose coordinates are denoted by a seven-digit number.  The number shows up as a link, and I tap it out of curiosity (I thought maybe this place had some backstory that the user was including via link).  My phone then asks if I want to CALL that number!  OMFG, NO, phone, I do NOT want to just call up some random Yeerkish outpost! 

Anyway, I understand very well about life getting crazy, so nobody need justify any lack of posting to me, at least.  In any case I'm being kept quite entertained by my current archive-adventures.  *goes back to reading*

Also, I totally had a dream the other night that I posed that I thought was reality. Then I realized...it was a dream. I hadn't posted.

Whoops. Gonna get on that.

Woo! Haha. Oh, it'll be so nice to have those two back around ^_^ I definitely miss Morgan from time to time. It is so good to see you here ^_^

Quick question for Shen, but how long do the effects of Jeffrey's powers typically last?

Not that long, if he's not trying all that hard. I'd guess...a couple minutes, tops. Basically, duration is dependent on how much effort Jeffrey expands to imprint any particular idea. Chances are he'll snap out of it pretty quick, since Jeffrey isn't attacking the Iskoort or paying that much attention. That, and while he might be on the gullible side, Truth Seeker isn't a human. While Jeffrey's powers seem to work on any sentient he meets (depending on their degree of resistance), they might not be as effective against non-humans. So....dealer's choice. : D

Yeah, I think we've kind of all been playing Jeffrey's influence as a "whatever is the most fun" kind of thing. As a result, his powers have been a little inconsistent-- and very entertaining ^_^

Sounds good.  Truth Seeker'll probably come out of it next post, or maybe the post after, depending how things go.

Inconsistent powers make sense, when you consider all the weird and unpredictable intricacies of the human (or whatever) brain.  And entertaining powers are always good.
