Hey, guys, just fyi Tara's reappearance may or may not be short lived. She had to go in for unexpected eye surgery yesterday, and is currently recovering. The surgery went well, but I don't know whether or not she will be on the computer much. So, just a heads up.

Also, that's my excuse for not posting here or in Rogue. I've been helping with hospital/recovery stuff. I'll be back in force soon.

I'm glad the surgery went well. She will still have both eyes functioning afterwards, then?

Yeah, her vision will be just as it was prior to the surgery, assuming the recovery goes well. Which it should.

Also by yesterday I meant today. This has evidently just been that long of a day that this morning feels like yesterday, lol.

So who is this guy, exactly? Is he a subordinate, an extension, or an aspect of the Big Man himself? That's important for determining how Mar responds here.

I figured this is actually The One, peering through the void and speaking directly. He won't really be able to do much because of the Bar. I figure if he finds a reason to try to channel energy to actually incinerate Mar, it will backfire. This will be kind of like talking to someone personally over the phone instead of using a middle man.

Okay, let's keep on going here. Actually....I'm not really sure what would happen if the One tried to kill Mar. 

See... most of Mar's magic works by taking some of his own Mass and then using this as the "more-than-equivalent exchange" fuel required by physics. This is why, since Mar's not quite connected correctly to his Highest self, using any magic that creates anything doesn't work. He'd be in effect asking Entropy to take the payment out of only his Mass, and well......that's a really bad idea. XD

But I'm not really clear on whether the same situation applies to The One at all. Mar's mortal, so if the guy landed a blow on him...well Mar the character's as dead as anyone else. x___x

He's probably not going to attack Mar anyway. More likely to make some creepy conversation and call him precious.

When I realized he'd given himself a name that in Buddhism refers to the spirit governing illusion, temptation, and "bread and circuses" basically....I laughed really hard.

He's been saying for over a decade that he is Full of ****. X)

Welp, got to figure out exactly how this is going to work. I'm thinking a bit of memory manipulation. Put some in and take some out, so all you know is literally what he wasn't you to know. Should work fine on Humans, but maybe not as much on someone connected to a higher being.
