My suggestion, Hunter, is to make your character more original. One of the main problems with bringing a carbon-copy character made by someone else in is that you're limited in scope and it detracts from the RP as a whole. That's why we say to come up with an original character on the rules page. Honestly I liked your character until it became obvious that you were just using a pre-established popular character.
An original name and an original backstory really help the RP and help you to allow character growth and change. You get to decide how your character responds to a situation without having some preconception that came from someone else's mind. It also keeps other people from having preconceptions about your character because they know a little something about the character you're trying to copy. The fact that you've already run out of ideas for this character says it wasn't a good choice. Now if you invented a character from..say...the Tokugawa era or some other time in feudal Japan and write a composed backstory for him, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to come out swinging with more ideas. He could certainly share similar attitudes and ideas with your current character, but the originality should open up a few doors for you. Of course this is merely a suggestion, you're free to take it or not.
Original characters are utterly much more satisfying for everyone involved in the RP, not least of all the players of those characters. I know, for me, when your character first walked in, I saw a ronin samurai with an elaborate family sword obviously out of place and out of sorts, but showing confidence nonetheless...maybe he had been out for a stroll or walking to his local tea-house when he got transported to the GESB...there are a lot of possiblities, but in other words, I saw an oddity and an interesting person to get to know. Now all I see when I think about your character is a blocky, crudely-drawn, square-faced animation that looks like it belongs on Dexter's Laboratory. I mean no offense, but the original picture I had in my mind was much more enjoyable than what's there now, because the original picture I had was deep and mysterious...a picture of a person who might've actually existed, instead of cheap, shallow, and false-feeling as it is now. Ultimately it's up to you, but just know that my characters probably won't interact with a character I know from some other television show/book/movie...etc.
