Sean felt awkward shedding his outer layer of clothing. He didn't want to get tangled in them, and only the black outfit he'd bought at the resale shop was tight enough to morph with him. Thankfully it wasn't cold out. "This is going to be unpleasant in the winter, isn't it?" he said to the others. "Alright... here goes nothing."
Sean closed his eyes, squinted them even, and filled his mind's eye with the frantic squirrel they'd wrangled long enough to acquire. Jo had been the one to catch it in her dog morph, and it had put up a good chase. These critters were raw energy. He felt a tingling at the base of his spine. He turned to look and saw a large tail growing out of his rear. The fur seemed to just push itself right out of his body, and stretch into a thick, fuzzy squirrel tail. He started to shout out in surprise, but he didn't want to chicken out. The kids and Olivia had all already done it multiple times, and he couldn't be seen freaking out with his first morph. Instead of dwelling on how crazy it was to have a tail, Sean pictured the ways squirrels' tails moved with them, how they used them for balance, and even communicating some. His boned began making little creaking sounds as he shrunk down to less than a foot tall. His skin itched all over while fur sprouted and covered ever inch of his body. His face was changing, too. Sean suddenly had a slightly protruding muzzle of sorts, large teeth that felt too big for his face, and his ears slid up and on top of his head. He sat still after the morph was complete.
<Okay, I think I'm - > RUN! DANGER! RUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNR UNRUN!!!! The squirrel that was Sean bolted, bounding across the grass, away from the towering giants, and towards the nearest trees. HURRY! QUICK! CLIMB AWAY!!!!!
