Ultimate battle morph.
« on: September 23, 2010, 08:35:04 PM »
We know Visser Three has all kinds of morphs for killing Andalites (and anything else) with. So what if you had the opportunity to acquire a creature to battle with? Create your own battle morph, but remember there are drawbacks to some things. Being a huge abomination of parts designed to kill something a hundred different ways wouldn't be easy to convince a strange military that you're one of the good guys.

What would you want? Versatility? Sheer power? The ability to hide in plain sight and use hallucinogens to confound enemies?

A morph that can fool the 5 senses of anyone who hears your voice. You're practically untouchable with this. One second, the enemy HB ARMY is cornering you, the next they're on afield of flowers (or Hork-Bajir flowers).

Downside is, you don't have any fangs or claws for sneak attacks (you can't use your voice yet), but that's where allies come in.

Also, friendly fire is undeniable. :)
The basis for this was Siren from myths. :) Where their voices captivated sailors.

Dragon.
the correct answer is dragon.
Power, flight, fire, sizes may vary, and depending on where you're getting this dragon from magic  :o

I imagine it'd be a good target for dracons, but don't care.

Since we're going magical, I think Monster Blood from Goosebumps is the perfect battle morph. You're pretty much indestructable, can multiple and all. You can take over the world. Or other worlds, for that matter. AND YOU CAN'T. I repeat. CAN'T. be infested by a Yeerk. :D

Phoenix.  Fire powers, flight, imortallity.  What more could you want?  And I'm pretty sure "dying" and being reborn from ashes would reset the morphing clock.

I kinda think the "Red Jello" monster would be a good choice... pretty much indestructible, and could suffocate and carry off anything. Maybe it could even reach in and pull a Yeerk out of someone's head...

Anything with legitimate telekinesis, including required secondary powers such as good reaction time, an immense spacial sense, and an overall really powerful mind.

Carry a pouch full of ball bearings and kill everything in the room instantly - or not, just tear their eyes out/crush nerves. Remove the air from someone's lungs. Levitate armor around yourself, or turn any box into a high velocity vehicle. Limitless possibilities.

What does it mean to be free?

I'm gonna stick with a combination of animals/aliens and no magic for mine.

Feline body with an Andalite tail and stalk eyes.
Speed of an Andalite in combat and faster than any earth animal.
Giant wings that can be retracted so they aren't harmed in battle, but I could fly away if necessary.
Speed in flight of the fastest earth bird.
Tiger's teeth and jaws.
Strength of a gorilla in each massive tiger paw.
Fur that can change colors like a chameloen.

So it obviously can be killed and has flaws, but it is pretty badass. I'll blend in and look invisible, fight you with my mouth/paws in front, and slice you with my tail while looking all around the room with my stalk eyes. And if it gets rough, I'll jump into the air and fly away.
I went to the window and looked up at the stars. Somewhere up there, around one of those
cold, twinkling stars, was the Andalite home world. Somewhere up there was . . . hope.

<They'll come,> Tobias said. <The Andalites will come. And until then . . . >

I nodded and wiped away my tears. "Yeah," I said. "Until then, we fight."

I have the metroid in mind. Those little guys are tough enough in their own games to be a threat to Samus freaking Aran! Sure, they are weak to low temperatures, but as long as you are not in a place that's too cold, I'm pretty sure they can be a force to be reckoned with. You can just latch right onto your victims and suck the life right out of them within seconds and best of all, you can actually use that stored up life energy to heal your allies (Shown in Super Metroid)!

My choice: The Gorgon/Medusa.  Anything that looks at my face would turn to stone!
