Which of these is your favorite 'filler' book?

19 is so not filler, especially if 29 is not counted as filler, than 19 just can't be.

But of this list 25 is a laugh with a pretty good story. Even does some tiding up

Yeah, whats up with #19 being a filler and not 29? Of course, this is Yorrik's idea of a filler list and its definitely not official. Everything is about his opinion. The reason he  put The Departure up there was b/c he doesn't like Cassie, because if you notice most of the books up there are Cassie books.  People can hate Cassie all they want, but it won't change the fact that she was an essential part of the Animorph team and they needed her. Without her, the story would have fallen apart and the Animorphs might have lost. Who else would've given the Yeerks the morphing cube? Something good in the disguise of bad HAD to happen. Lol

but what's weird? #34 is a cassie book, yet he didn't put it up there as a filler book, so that means, he really doesn't think it's a filler...so my question is, why?

You may be right about that. I'm too lazy to check, but maybe someone could get an accurate list of filler books, and see which narrator had the most.

I wouldn't count 2 or 33 as filler. 2 shows us that the invasion destroys families where some members are controllers, and some aren't.

33 is the one with the Anti morphing ray, right? It also introduced Taylor, who I think is an interesting character.

the anit-morhing ray isn't that important a factor in my opinion. it's destroyed in #33. as for taylor, she reappears in #43 so I count that as a filler too.

as for #2, they destroy families seems like obvious to me, so that's why it seems like a filler to me.

either way, take them down, and jake and rachel still have almost as many.

I wouldn't count any of the first 5 as filler, since they were pretty much character introductions, which are needed.

33 affected Tobias a lot, and what happened to him was brought up a few times later, so it's mentioned a bit too much to be filler.

I'd add 17 into Rachel's list, though, which gives her back the same amount of filler books.

Eh, maybe had the mission been even MENTIONED later, I wouldn't count it as filler. Like have Toby say something about wanting to continue to free Hork-Bajir on the homeworld or something. But it wasn't even brought up... *shrugs* Eh, whatever. I suppose it's important enough to not be filler.

I'd keep what's there for cassie rachel and jake, add 3 for tobias and definitely keep 33 and 43.

I know there are those first POV books, but if it didn't have a serious effect on the rest of the story, I make it as filler either way.

And 34? psh, HBC continued HBC that was completely unneeded, just a fun little side by venture.

figured that would be said, but since I look at 3 as filler too, I jump straight from the end of one and figure well, he's not gonna go to school anymore, kinda obvious he's gonna go to the birds.
