Rank the Animorphs from Fave to Least Fave

Jake - I tended to relate to him the most.  I get picked to be leader of things in just about everything I do with groups much to my dismay.

Tobias - Was my favorite character early on until about book 16 when Jake attacks the yeerk mansion. 

Marco - To this day some of his jokes still make me laugh.  He was a really deep character and one of the more 3-D I guess is the word I'm looking for.

Rachel/Ax - I liked to read from their point of views and they both did interest me but I didn't like them as much as the others above.

Auxillaries - I actually wish they weren't part of the story to begin with.  It just seemed wrong to me to introduce new characters, no matter how minor, that late in the story.

Cassie - I didn't agree with her opinions at least 90% of the time.  I say her purpose in the group and I did agree when Jake would defer to her to make calls because you definitely needed to keep the group from getting completely gun-ho like Rachel.

Rachel - she's strong and brave and doesn't let anyone control her.

Jake - he's the responsible leader type that pulls it all together.

Cassie - I like her because she is a pacifist, and tries to end arguments without violence.

Marco - I really liked his humor but sometimes he went too far. I know he had his reasons, but still.

Ax - I like Ax. But his attitude towards handicaps made me not like him as much. Ax and Rachel are similar, but I actually think Ax is a tad bit more ruthless than Rachel. I think in one of the books he was going to drop a bomb on the Yeerks but it would kill lots of other people, too. And that's something I don't think Rachel would ever do, not even to Andalites.

I don't really dislike any of them either, but you know...

Tobias-First character I met, interesting live, and history. Other then the pity parties in books 3 and 33, totally awesome

Marco-Funny, clever, efficient. nuff said

Ax/Jake/Rachel- This three always tie for me. Ax is funny, but for so long is an outsider, and is too often working for and against the group all at once. Jake is cool and everything but beeches about leadership way too much. Rachel ranges between inspirationally bold to complaining about everyone thinking she's insane. too much

Cassie-Why too whiny, plus she gets to be the special one: estreen, subtemporily grounded, all that jazz, no, not whiny Cassie, way too annoying

I thought I was the only one who noticed that! It really annoyed me how Applegate tried to make Cassie some special, almost angelic figure by making her fastest morpher, the most beautiful when morphing, able to stop alternate timelines and being the smartest animorph

Ax only appeared to be smarter than the Animorphs because he was an Andalite. He was probably above average in Andalite terms, but he wasn't like Estrid or anything.

Marco is probably the smartest, but I think that all of the Animorphs did well in school with the exception of Cassie. Cassie probably got decent grades but it did mention her bad math grades a few times.

out of the 6 of them, ax is still smartest in general knowledge.

1) Tobias - (I dunno, something about tortured souls and loners gets to me Plus the guy is so loyal and caring, and suffered so much)

2) Marco/Rachel - (can't decide; Marco has the best lines while Rachel is just awesome)

3) Ax - always stuck between a rock and a hard place yet still makes the best of it. Not to mention he's also extremely loyal and his books are always hilarious

4) Jake - a tad boring

5) Cassie - too hypocritical and judgmental but gets the best treatment in the books  ???

well hate cassie more than david is sort of understandable (well it is to me) if you don't like cassie. after all they're ranking is pretty close. cassie's only on top because I like her.

I think people relate to Rachel more than Cassie. They prefer Rachel kicking Ass to Cassie kissing Ass in her love everyone thing. I mean, she was kinda lame a few times.
